Cyberpunk 2077 Pre-Re-Announcement Thread [GO TO NEW THREAD]

In conclusion, 2077 is fucked

 

A 2016 release is unlikely,to release their next major project a year and a half after Witcher 3 would require a second team of 150 people working on it since 2014 at least and they are not that big,especially considering that they are still working on the Witcher 3 dlcs,even a 2017 release is hard if the majority of the people started working on it after the Witcher 3 release

 

They have i think 150+ devs in warsaw and they have second studio in Crocow which they opened up i think year ago.
They had already people working on CB2077 as they mentioned after delay that people who worked on CB2077 were moved to finishing TW3.

2016 naturally is not going to happen but holiday 2017 is pretty much their target with marketing starting early 2017

Also they said that they are working on smaller games whatever that means.

 

Sure they has some people working on it but having some artists doing designs and some writers working on the story and the world is quite different than having an entire team working full time on it,when they started working 100% on it is what matters,end of 2017 is a more logical and feasible though I still have some doubts,it took them 4 years to make Witcher 2 and another 4 to make Witcher 3 after all

If it was any other developper, I would've been worried that kind of stuff may influence them. Not with CDP.

 

They just said "we now fully expect it to beat TW3 sales and reach way more people than TW3"

True, that's a concern. But they may actually mean that TW3's success gained them more exposition.

Another thing to consider is that Cybercuck 2077 is going to be in direct competition with Deus Ex Mankind Divided, so CDP's approach to writing and game design will be one of their best selling points, imo. They have nothing to gain by "sanitizing" their game since there's already something like that out there.

 

Nah i don't see CDPR making DE like game. They will do probably open world shooter/rpg with heavy story without all that fake stealth mumbo jumbo. They want money.
I think they already confirmed this will take place in a city + near city areas and this will be open world in vein of TW3

 

Haven't seen this posted yet (it's some months old too). Not much new regarding 2077. The only relevant part being Mikes comment (around 33:25) on how "it won't be a shooter with some roleplaying thrown on it, but stuff that matter with lots of cool shooting and stuff", yeah... Take it as you will.

 

He probably got some beta-testing run-aways to fuck for shilling for the dev studio. Or maybe he's a beta-testing run-away himself, posting it while covered in sticky cum.

BTW: CdProjekt after Witcher 3 success is much more popular than before Witcher 3 so of course they want more sales, every fucking studio wants more sales and money, nothing new sherlocks. Of course Cyberpunk 2077 will be papamole ACTION RPG like Witcher 3 with live action combat, probably some skills and other cyberpunkish gadgets EVERYFINK in live action. And this is not new information cause they already said that in 2013 after they revealed dis gaem.
