    Scott is giving you another little taste of the writing to be scattered about <b><a href="http://www.irontowerstudio.com/forum/index.php/topic,481.0.html" target="blank">Cyclopean</a></b> with a short story, <a href="http://www.irontowerstudio.com/forum/index.php/topic,1080.0.html" target="blank">"Clockwork"</a>.
    <br>
    <blockquote>Gleaming rows of tools and implements were carefully laid out in a broad, square room as clean and orderly as any surgery. Much of it was for the fussy work of timepieces, but there were knives and saws as well, and other more curious implements. It occurred to me then that perhaps Oppol had not arranged the front shop at all, but that the half-ruined room had sat in just that state for decades.
    <br>
    <br>
    Everything centered around a long table about the length of a tall man, with a long depression running down the middle. At one end was a deeper, bowl shaped concavity with an open circle at the bottom, presumably a drain.</blockquote>

    Can't say for sure how these stories will be incorporated into the game, but keep in mind that those collectible cards with pictures of topless women you meet in the exotic world of Cyclopean will need some sort of text.

    Cards of topless women can only enchance a game, no matter its genre.

    Stories are nice and all, but is there any progress in designing the game? Has an engine been chosen, is the storyline written out?

    Heh, I was actually looking to get that book out of curiosity.

    The engine will be Age of Decadence.

    I think they're waiting for Vault Dweller and co to finish before starting coding.

    Which makes sense though I find this 'teasing' slightly gay.

    Age of Decadence seems to be the only Iron Tower game worth following at the moment since it actually has progress being made. Cyclopean and ZRPG still seem to be in very early stages and won't be leaving them anytime soon, and who knows what's going on with Scars of War, every time I check the game's development blog I always see a bunch of stuff completely unrelated to the game's development. Meh.

    I enjoy HP Lovecraft, but he was a pretty bad writer.

    I wonder what the implements are curious about?

    Yeah... he is pretty much the worst writer of all time.
