Looks like Relic is going back to bigger scale battles unless they are not going to use these titan knights and wraithknights.

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
I thought that was actually a pretty decent trailer.

Also, did it hint at four factions? Space Marines, Eldar, Orks, and Imperial knights? I thought the walkers that fought the Wraith Walker were separate from typical Space Marines.

edit: Nevermind, I just read the youtube description, 3 factions it is.

Building on 12 years of explosive gameplay, Dawn of War III combines the epic scale of Dawn of War, with the customization and elite heroes of Dawn of War II. Dawn of War III immerses players in the escalating brutality of galactic warfare, where they will lead elite hero units and colossal armies to victory, or oblivion. Powerful super-walkers will tower over the front lines as screen-shaking assaults blister the battlefield in an all-out, over-the-top spectacle worthy.”

The message is bigger, better and exploding more. “This is the Dawn of War that fans have been waiting for” explains executive producer Stephen MacDonald in a statement, “Our biggest units ever? Check. Giant orbital lasers? Check. Base-building, epic heroes, huge battles, it’s all in there.”

The lack of Chaos in the trailer though. Pre-order DLC incoming?

I am kind of surprised they are going for a blend of DoW1 and DoW2. While I hoped for it, I am not sure what to expect (Warcraft 3 comes to mind).

Why the fuck Orcs. Every god damn time.

The most boring faction of them all.
They need comic relief somehow.

A Beautifully Desolate Campaign
Will I ever be able to play fucking Necron/Tau again? Still looking forward to the game obviously. Ever since the new CEO stepped in GW really has become a better company.

That is much better to view, thanks vonAchdorf.

Edit: I think you can make out Gabriel Angelos in terminator armor.

Eww. Kiddy graphics?
In aid of this, some close detail has been sacrificed so Dawn of War 3 can shine in large-scale encounters, and Relic's artists have taken more inspiration from the colourful paint jobs of the tabletop game. It's a step away from the dark doom-laden tone of the fiction, and the game looks fantastic in motion.

Like 10yo like to paint their armies, I guess.

The Knight looks pretty cool though with its details.

I suppose to keep the hardware requirements in check. Well, I'm not saying it's ugly.... just unusual. If the game is gud I won't complain.
