DayZ, a zombie mod for ArmA2 - Now standalone on Steam Early Access

I tend to play on DE and PL servers, especially the latter ones as they are all apparently based in my basement or something, judging from the ping I get.

 

I play on DE servers sometimes. I'm from central Europe so any EU server serves me just fine, as long as it doesn't have 3rd person and other casual crap enabled.

 

Direct chat names are invisible IIRC

 

I never shoot on sight. I just send a horde on them without alerting them

 

Well, tired of losing everything in a vehicle. The database seems screwed to me. Might do another suicide run as I don't see the point. Can't find tents anymore and don't know what to do with everything I find in the wilderness. At times I've found six NVG's and never worn one, GPS's, I use a compass and a map. Maybe it's Cherno time, see what that's like.

But I'll have to walk there as every single vehcle I have is empty and I can't find a jerry can!

I'll join you, did you figure out how to plug in a microphone and join the Codex Vent server yet? Think it's been a week or two now.

The ATV was still there yesterday evening, in the trees by that longbarn. I went into the town, somehow 3 zombies spawned inside a house while I was in there and after I killed two of them about 9000000 more came in and ate me.

 

I keep forgetting about mic. Gonna get one tomorrow.

 

Guys, we have to get organised. There's what, 8 of us playing this game? If we could group up we could practically claim a rich, less popular area of the map, like NE Airfield. If we hop on a fresh server then it would be pretty trivial to find a heli and proceed to rain righteous fury upon all those puny little ants whose ultimate aim is to find yet another can of beans.

Seriously, I was near the Black Rocks today and I almost ran into a full blown shootout between some dudes. Naturally I crapped my pants and ran the fuck away, but with a full squad it would be US doing the hunting.

Oh and Seinfeld trivia. We definitely have to do Seinfeld trivia.

Who's playing now and in what server? I need a transfusion and I've got the blood pack. Fucking zombies, one lucky hit and I got knocked out. Fuckers chewed on me till I was down to 2000. I didn't know that food didn't work any more once your blood dropped that low. I have spare toolboxes and wire fences and tank traps, if anyone is interested.
