Didn't feel like that at all, more like a tiny expansion pack. But you are right waiting for the price to go down, because it is short as hell.

Bought and finished, 8.8 hour mark reported by Steam. Of course, I've reloaded a few times, and I generally take my sweet time to get around, but that's a pretty good number for a mini-expansion.

    Anyway, my thoughts on this:

As mentioned, level design is solid. Several ways to get around places, and not in what Skyway criticized as "vent going along the corridor" ways anymore, although considering the compactness of the zones (Transport ship, secret naval base), the paths won't necessarily diverge by half a mile.

Enjoyed the story and the pacing, in a way it got a little predictable, but well, there were a couple of surprises as well. There's a bit of C&C involved towards the end as well, though it's a bit binary. Couple of interesting characters and concepts in the game as well.

Special bonus: Quinn is in the game! He only signs his emails as -Q though.

Encounters are by and large well designed, not over-the-top, not too undertuned either, though you'll still be too powerful with a stealth/hack build. Energy bars are also quite abundant.

End boss fight was good! Yeah, really - unlike the nonsense that was in the core campaign, what you get here is a large warehouse room's worth of snipers, bots, turrets, patrollers and their leader. Kill/disable it all and you're home free. And yeah, the "boss" died with just one headshot despite being a pretty powerful aug.

Oh, and the boss has titanium (or some alloy) bones. Are the devs reading the Codex or something?

Regarding more DLC: Let the credits run to the end and the final thing said in the credits is, "We hope you enjoyed this, because we're just getting started!", so, I'm guessing there'll be more. Not that I mind, they seem to be doing stuff right.

Annoyances: Biometric scans take too long and sometimes you'll have to run through two with less than a minute interval between them.

Anyway, really enjoyed the whole mini-campaign, will replay it at some point with a different build/approach.

Never thought this would turn into a Bethesda-esque DLC milking fest. GOTY it is, then.

There's a big difference between normal DLC and Bethesda-style DLC. Normal DLC is generally mini-expansion packs or stuff like that (and it actually does function pretty well, I don't have anything to complain about the DLC I've gotten), Bethesda-style DLC is inane bullshit like horse armour.

    Yeah, this.

The Beth-likes are basically their pre-order bonuses being sold, but then again, it's better if they sell those than have Bio-like "one-time exclusive deal!!!" crap in case someone actually wants it.

This is actually kinda like Dead Money in terms of content. Less since there's no crafting and some other stuff that NV obviously has, but it's more comparable to that.
