Good good. I was thinking of actually buying the game, but all the microtransaction stuff really piss me off. Plus i hear, they are locking some augs behind paywall.

And the microtransactions in single player are really nothing more than pay2cheat.

 

I don't want to give them money after all this microtransaction crap. But when this game gets to 75% off on Steam I don't have anything else to play I might get it then.

 

Why should they have? You're paying for a game, you got a good game. If they want to sell cheat codes so that I can go on and spend a few bucks to beat the game comfortably, it doesn't take away anything from Infinitron's own experience.

 

I haven't met a single interesting npc so far and I'm almost finished,who the fuck are all these new people,I barely get a few hints here and there about their background but not enough to give a shit about them.It doesn't help that the game feels rushed as fuck,almost every mission is hurry hurry HURRY and don't forget to hurry the fuck up.

This game has horrible story pacing,it never tries to stop and take a deep breath and reflect over what just happened,just hurry up to the next mission that concludes fuck all most of the time and then you realise you just got at the end and know less than at the start of the game.

But hey,at least I got to crawl through 1000 vents and gather wine and beer and then hack a PC and read emails like a fucking creep.

 

Oh, how the gaming community is changing. Just 3 years ago microtransactions in Dead Space 3 were the end of the world, now they're nothing more than an optional cheat.

 

Dude, there has to be some sort of mistake here. I've completed Deus Ex one and a half times in my entire life, and Steam says I've played it for 90 hours. Now, granted, I'm slightly retarded and also very methodical when playing most games, but DX1 is not a 25 hour experience. There has to be some error in your data.

 

Lol. Still hoping this is in the same universe as DX?

 

Got to the last part of the game and can't continue because it crashes when I try to travel between stations...

This game seems to contain all the problems that AAA games have nowadays:

-bugs and shit even with huge day 1 patch
-microtranscations, shitty DLC, pre order bonuses, season passes

 

Probably tons of Codexers bought this and augmented their pre-order while at it, they just don't want to publicly admit it. The truth is too ugly, the shame too great, they don't want to confront the fact that they are decline enabling, impatient, hype believing, manchild suckers who give their hard earned cash to unscrupulous, money absorbing black holes like Squeenix to act as glorified beta testers. They sit in their dark rooms, munching Doritos while playing this broken, buggy, dumbed down, microtransaction-ridden console trash, crying internally, trying to come up with excuses to ease their buyer's remorse. Deep down they know the sins they have committed. Yet, path of redemption is too long and painful, and all they can do is run away in shame, hiding from the eyes of judgment, drowning their sorrows in Mountain Dew and emptying it in piss bottles in their mom's basement.

Not being edgy, just saying. Everyone wants that console money. Help us get this game kickstarted so we can avoid publisher! Months later they all have publishers.

 

Agree, maybe i am too sentimental about their past games and am putting much hopes in them. I wanna believe!.
