Shit. Do this and then put your genius to another fucking game Styg!

I want to see what else you and yours have up your sleeves. Be it the underrail universe or another entirely.
Not using that fine-ass engine for more cRPG goodness would be criminally insane :outrage:

But I could make a much better engine now, and it would be lots of fun (for me).

Please stick with the current engine for Underrail 2 or your next game. This guarantees a solid release.

It doesn't make sense to develop a new engine unless you want to add drastically different improvements which cannot be done with the current engine.

Just like how it's much more fun to play Underrail by keep rerolling new characters before you're anywhere close to halfway through a run, Styg find pleasure in making a new engine from scratch for every new game he wants to make

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
To be honest, the only thing I'd really want improved upon in Underrail is a little bit more lore about the world in the form of data pads that we can read or look at images on, and a little more reactivity from the world when things happen. Underrail had really good writing and world building, so I'd love to get some more that perhaps expanded on Western Underrail or even the unknown East? As for reactivity, the tongue in cheek jokes about becoming the Invictus was cool, but there are other things where I wish people would comment on/react too. There are other, smaller things that don't immediately come to mind, but that's the gist of it. Otherwise, I really wouldn't care if the same engine was used; it's great the way it is.

eh Styg milk your current underrail engine for another game atleast (not necessarily a direct sequel. maybe some spinoff in the underrail universe ? )

Otherwise it won't make too much financial sense specially since the current wngine more than delivers on its premise of solid tb combat and exploration.

Also don't fix what ain't broken etc.

I'd like to see what you can do with reactivity and a more "alive" settlement. Styg has shown to be quite capable in almost everything else. Now just build a reactive community of some sort.

More reactivity would be great, but I want to play the addon before 2030.

Anyway, the new environments look good and the music fits perfectly.
