From his performance in the last match, he's not bad. Should give an headache or two to any opponent, I hope.

I am easily amused. Do you have placed the Cavemen poptype in that or it was random? If it wasn't you should get a improved Cavemen leader. I don't know, Invulnerability, improved Strength, Inspiring Leadership.... we want to make this a proper historical reconstruction or not?

No, I didn't go that far - all is pure random:lol:

Although, I can make a caveman-boss with custom name, donned with artifacts and surrounded by an army of :ibelieveincleve:

It might be funny and all. Until Fomoria kills him and takes all his artifact for themselves. I mean, they are already overpowered, you know. Gotta be mindful of that:roll:

Dayyālu, if I was aiming for something hand-made, it would look like this.

(The following is just fucking around - nothing like this is in actual map.)

Gentlemen. This is Prince of Death.

    He is surrounded by shadows.

And THIS is Cleveland Mark Blakemore.

Prince of Death is equipped with robes and nothing else.

Cleveland Mark Blakemore is wearing Shroud of the Battle Saint. He is holding Black Book of Secrets.

Maybe I'll make a fully-Codex-themed map for next season. You know, like from scratch. This time I just edited other people's work, so no need to credit me for anything.

Whatever problems Yomi has, it's not weak research. The only real problem of Yomi is its abysmal economy. Chaos power without chaosspread does not mitigate it and raiding gives just not enough gold to be effective.

As Ur isn't taken alrady I'd like to switch to Ur raw if possible. I'd be fine if it isn't anyways.
I forgot what pile of dung EA Ermor is.

Enough time has passed, and people don't complain about the map. The only issue I found since last time is one bridge I forgot to draw on map image. This one:
    Show Spoiler
    [IMG]

Previously the river was marked as river crossing (no bridge). That being said, I think the whole thing is ready to be linked in op-post and uploaded to llamaserver.

    raw, if you will: http://a.pomf.se/spmkus.rar
(this is final, with missing bridge being drawn)

The map is on llamaserver too. You'll find it by the name Shaluda Codex Edition (currently at the very bottom of the map list)

I'm pretty sure that people won't be able to play this pbem, unless they download the map. You might want to stress it out in op-post.

And once again, no need to credit me. I just edited already existing and good-looking map.

 Now please change it and don't tell anyone.

Master-password is YOUR password. If we'll have a staler in this session, you can use master-password to take control over his nation. And either to switch him to AI, or to pass his nation to another player. Theoretically, knowing master password anyone can take over each other nations.

Nope, admin password lets you do a lot of other things (change settings before game starts, set "message of the day", etc) - you know, minor things.

There is also a slight difference between "Score Graphs off" and "Score Graphs off, no info on other nations". You've chosen the latter. It means, that no nation will be able to see other nation's score graphs by ANY means, not even with spies. While the first one hides score graphs initially, but allows to see them via spies and other methods (like specific magic sites).

Edit: IIRC, you can pass a nation to another player without master password, but only if this nation's Pretender isn't protected by password (you can set password during Pretender design).

If there is a password on Pretender, and the player went on stale streak, only master password will let you to take him over.

Wut, Ermor is much stronger than Ur. At least if you mean overall power-wise, and not just your personal preference.

:hmmm: UW Expanded is not *exactly* an insane choice. I can manage without, but without it some things could be a hassle for me and for you all. Plus I have to redesign my Pretender choice then.

If the majority is against it, well then. But realize that it's not a buffing mod for UW nations only: it gives greater access to UW to everyone, something quite important in this map.

EDIT: I'm not against people changing ideas about Nations, as long as it is inside their pick. Coldcrow is kosher, then.

EDIT 2: "Story Events" ON? What?

We should stick to the random nations principle. I'm not happy with Xibalba too, you know. Can I take Niefelheim?

And btw, yes. If we don't use UW Expanded, give the poor man Dayyālu another nation. Atlantis sucks even with mod. It sucks even harder without it.

EA Atlantis is hella strong when it's the only UW nation on this map. Otoh the other half of UW expanded is that it lets land nations get a small bit easier into the water, so there's that.

I am strongly in favor of this as anything that prevents UW nations becoming too isolated from the rest of the game. (Anyone remember Team C'Tis from our disciple game? Yeah.) Also, is the jury out on that single lvl3 throne yet? I'd rather have it in the game to create some real hotspot.

It's not, if we count Fomoria. They may not be able to build forts underwater, but they sure have no probs conquering them. Right from the start.

Fomorian Giants vs. Atlantian troops is an easy win for Atlanteans, no matter what bless. Fomoria is strong of course, but it has no chance of beating Atlantis at its own game.

Uhm... shouldn't we let Dayyālu decide?

Also, I'd say to not explode into yes-no-yes-no-discussions here. I'd prefer if the :butthurt: here came from actually playing this epic match.

Of course it's not his call but raw's. Power-wise Dayyalu's in a great position either way, if he plays it right (also the mod doesn't change Atlantis' power in ways that are too relevant to winning a game like this), it's more a matter of how you want the water game work overall whether to use the mod or not.
