GamersInfo has posted a preview of Dungeon Siege 2 which is pretty high on the title(or heroin, I can't tell). Anyway, here's the snippet:

Let me start this preview off by saying that I am a fan of the Dungeon Siege series. I've played both Dungeon Siege and Legends of Aranna, and was thrilled when DSII was announced. I have liked the Dungeon Siege line so far because of the unique combat system and the spectacular graphics - so ever since DSII was announced I have been wishing that the developers at Gas Powered Games will keep these systems.

That's how it starts. It only goes downhill from there.

The combat system is unique. Screensaver combat system. There is not other one.

I tried out the demo recently, and it was actually pretty good. Combat is way more interactive, and I like the party orders - They actually make a difference sometimes. The journal is also really handy and is interesting as it keeps a log of all the monsters you've seen and/or killed along with their weaknesses and such.

As for the world, I dunno, the opening trench levels I liked a lot. Very savage and gritty, it's just cool to actually fight in the war alongside others than just run around in the woods killing things and then having the cutscene say there's a war going on.

When all's said and done, I'm probably gonna buy it.
