Bradley</b>'s latest plague upon the CRPG genre, <a href="http://www.dungeonlords.com">Dungeon Lords</a>. Yup, it's another negative review:
    <br>
<blockquote>Dungeon Lords is touted as a "new breed of epic fantasy RPG". Unfortunately, this is one "new breed" of game that should have never been born. Missing features, lack of detail, and weak gameplay make this game anything but enjoyable.</blockquote>

That's the openning, after that it gets ugly.

You've got to put them in a sack with a couple of bricks for that to work.

I don't think Dungeon Lords needs all that.

It can't hurt to make sure. You wouldn't want to see Dungeon Lords resurface.

i'm not sure if they could even get that right. it would probably be one messed up porno with unfinished scenes, no soundtrack, poor lightining, missing extra features, chicks with dicks, chainmail bikinis

If Dungeon Lords had come with a pair of bricks, a sack and a string instead of the game discs and whatever manual it have, that would have been a better way to spend $50.

Well, an 1125 of Jim Beam Black Label (43% alcohol per volume) is about that as South Pacific pasetas.
I know which one I'd take.

With all these bad reviews coming out, it begs the question of "is this the worst non-indie RPG ever released?" Any thoughts?

Probably the worst one that got as much hype as it did. D.W. Bradley's game before this was a resounding stinker as well. Silver Style's put out some real duds as well, like that Baldur's Gate clone that I can't remember the name of.

Mentioning gamerakings gave me an idea. I switched the order from best first to worst first, and decided to go with a minimum of 10 votes instead of 5. Here the unfortunate top 10.

    1. Blaze & Blade - Eternal Quest PC SouthPeak Interactive
    2. Paradise Cracked PC Tri Synergy
    3. Dungeon Lords PC DreamCatcher Interactive
    4. Clans PC Strategy First
    5. Might and Magic IX PC 3DO
    6. Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer PC 3DO
    7. Blade and Sword PC Whiptail Interactive
    8. Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor PC Ubisoft
    9. Archangel PC Fishtank Interactive
    10. Gorasul: Legacy of the Dragon PC JoWood Productions

Sure enough, there is Gorasul. Hmmmm.... I thought Pool of Radiance was a classic? Am I missing something here?

No, thats the NEW Pools of Radiance, released in 2001

    http://poolofradiance.com/

It's crap, and an insult to the original.
And in its initial state could do funky things like erase your Windows install.

Funny, I did not think MM8 was so bad that it would rate the 6th worst game ever. I actually kind of liked it for some reason. Guess a lot of people felt it was too rushed. How long did it take to make? 9 months?

Sorry. Paradise Cracked has to lose/win for worst of all time.

Just for the damn "LOADING" screens.

I second that, and would even propose it is one the of worst games ever made.

Assuming no one releases anything else this year, one of the worst games in the history of the genre still could be the Combat RPG of 2005.
