This might be as good a topic as any to mention that Paul Stevens's Dungeon Master rewrite in its Linux version had a new build in 2018, which is not available from his main site, but from here: http://dianneandpaul.net/CSBwin/Games/DungeonMaster_Description.html So you can download http://dianneandpaul.net/CSBwin/Games/DM_linux_x64_SDL20_20180508.tar and play the original DM in, say, modern Ubuntu with no hassle!
