At least there's every reason to expect an entertaining story.

Yea, but since that preview mentions the ossom graffix and they have those pics to go along with it, I figured they wouldn't say that based on just concept ar.. oh heh, nvm.

The game?
Bah games are so last-gen. Cool people want to watch cutscenes and select characters to romance and none of the gameplay bullshit.

No seriously the game that is all about combat is being made by a studio that sucks horribly at combat. And even more - they put an emphasis on LARP'ing for teenagers once again

You think that Blizzard doesn't spend a vast amount of time and money making sure their "last-gen" graphics look as good as they possibly can? Blizzard art quality>most titles ffs. Exclamation mark.

Gamebanshee says it's a Vodyanoi and wikipedia tells me that's a Norse/Slavic water spirit.

These are the awesome graphics? Bwahaha, so those journalists actually thought those pieces of concept art were in-game graphics?

This. They have all budget anyone can possibly need to make their games look fabulous even without using Crysis level of tech.

And despite having a douche of a CEO, they recognise the commercial importance of artists enough to maintiain a seriously impressive array of artists paid to draw (and hence copyright) good shit even BETWEEN game projects. Not only does it give them massive back-catalogues of designs to use directly or as inspiration, but it means that they are constantly gathering copyright over more and more artistic concepts.

Clever business.

Lots of graphics whores ITT. Second screenshot looks great.

Saying graphics look like shit, especially when they were called "awesome" in previews makes one a graphic whore.

Saying that good graphics look like shit is indeed the very definition of a graphics whore. They may not be awesome, but you're insane if "shit" is the only point below "awesome" on your quality scale.

If it came after the launch of PS2 it's *at least* good. Fact.
