Somebody on gamefaq made a faq containing all menu translations and a walktrough for what to do for all 7 volumes.
You can play the game if you want to easily but,the story will of course be impossible to understand.

There are two options:
-Retroarch's flycast core if you want more options but slightly worse performance
-Re dream if you want less options but better performance: https://redream.io
