Randy Pitchford pretty much praised Epic and their storefront before Borderlands 3 was announced. People complain about this game coming to Epic for 6 months exclusively and he gets mad saying that he didn't make the final call on that and shouldn't have to hear people's complaints. People complain again, goes on a 50+ Tweetstorm(?) to the person about why Epic is so much better than Steam. Don't these people have better things to do with their time? Like funnel money from Sega games into Borderlands development? Or deal with accusations from former employees of having cheese pizza on their USB?

Wow, I didn't know about this, so much popcorn material.

"I realized, this is not a sex worker," Pitchford continued. "This is a fucking magician." He clarified later that she was not underage. "It was 'barely legal' porn. This girl's handle was 'Only 18.'"

The lawsuit against Gearbox goes on to claim Pitchford and his wife funneled more money from the company into funding "Peacock Parties" at their Frisco home, where "adult men have reportedly exposed themselves to minors, to the amusement of Randy Pitchford.” Though not accessible to the public, the Pitchfords do own and operate the Peacock Theater, an establishment created in 2016 with the mission of cultivating a local arts scene in Frisco.

I'm amazed this shitty series of highly mediocre shooters managed to survive to this day and age anyway. You'd have to pay me to play boredlands, not the other way around.

Well yeah, all positive things about borderlands are allways related to its COOP mode.
People tend to forget that even work can be fun with some buddies...

My e-mail was registered to this "guy". Some guy/group located in Thailand. No games owned it seems though.

Totally absurd. Nice trick by EPIC to get you to register against your will and prop up the numbers.

Ohhh no Epic mos. def. does not push its user numbers via creating accounts using online Spam Lists, no Sir!

Randy doesn't understand why people grow fond of a specific gun when playing. He doesn't understand anything about Borderlands other than it being their only other franchise that wasn't a commercial failure.

Considering his description, it's basically Slag 2.0, I'm already saying it's bad

Sasuga Randy, you managed to make a mandatory bandaid elemental status even more bland by giving it the same extra dot component as every other element.

Borderlands 1 > Borderlands 3.

Replaying 1 I'm remembering all the shit that makes 2 worse and slag is at the top of the list. It's just a shitty forced mechanic to compensate for the enemy health bloat on UVHM because they're too lazy to program simply difficulty scaling as easy as you see in Derpablo 3 -- give prefixes to enemies so they do additional fire damage, or explode on death, or whatever. Also the leveling curve in BL2 is a massive and tedious grind. In BL1 I was leveling fairly effortlessly to 69 to just killing enemies while going through zones. In BL2 I have characters around 61 and I can spend an hour killing enemies and maybe gain a quarter of a level. It all seems to be tied to questing. And you don't want to repeat the same derpy quests for the seventh time.
