Does anyone else remember this game?

It wasn't a very good game to be perfectly honest, but the premise was cool and the encyclopedia on different species was extensive. I'd like to play it again. Has anyone here ever attempted and managed to run this game on Win 7 64 bit? Thanks.

Never mind. Managed to get it to work finally.

If anyone is interested here is what I did:

1) Get the ISO from your favorite digital distribution platform (got it from the most famous one)

2) Mount it and set the compatibility of setup.exe to Win 95 and 256 colors (probably just need to set it to Win 95 but whatever)

3) Choose full install (high color and 256 colors)

4) I installed it to the default location C:\Program Files (x86). You can probably install it anywhere though.

5) Set the EVOLUTION.exe compativility to Win 95

Done! You can now enjoy one of the most unique games ever made and begin to wonder why more games like this don't exist.

I wish I still had the huge poster with the entire evolution tree.

Evolution? Intelligence? LIFE?!
This game does not fit the Codex at all.
