Ewww, characters? Career mode better be autistic/simulationist and not any story driven nonsense.
That story bit seems to only be in the beginner F2 section, which can be skipped at any rate.

True, but I’d expect more of this in 2020. A lot of the youtubers are asking for more of these type of interactions in the regular career mode. It also seems like something the general audience for this game would want as well.

IGN review gives it an 8.5 and wishes the storymode cutscenes continued after the F2 portion.

I don't really follow these games anymore, but how do these fare against the old classics, like my all time favourite the Geoff Crammond F1 series? Do they have good weather simulation and car physics?
