Fallout 4 Pre-Release Discussion [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

They slowly remove everything because GAEMERS nowadays see anything that resembles actual gameplay as a barrier between them and roaming around aimlessly while pushing the awesome button.

 

It's because deep down you wanted call of duty with a dog and a ghoul and todd knew this.

 

The skills weren't removed, they were streamlined. Gosh, you negative nancies really don't know anything about game design

 

You do know, but for some reason you choose not to accept it.

 

... "Get More Money 3" and "Get More Money 4". I mean fuck, it's OK to not even try, but why highlight it with multiple ranks of not even try? I'm planning a character and I'm like, "Oh boy! I can't wait to get Rank 2 of that Perk with its unique benefits!" This crap doesn't even give players anything to look forward to when they level up.

I guess the next game will remove character progression altogether. There's almost nothing left to cut out.

 

That shit's just in to make the LoversLab rape mods a little easier to implement.

Wans't there a FNV mod that was pretty much FNV: Machete Rape Edition? Everything ended in rape, defeated often resulted in rape, winning often ended with you raping the enemy, even animals raped you, etc.

 

The first mod I'll install, is the one that allows me to kill that stupid ass dog.

Nuclear War, cannibalism, mass murder and stealing food from old ladies? That's quite fine sir.

Killing a dog? No, dog has to be immortal and survive being set on fire, because please think of the children.

 

I just want to be a raider. Kill everyone, burn every town, and start my own satanic cult. WHy can't I do that, Todd?

 

Because then you'd just be roleplaying as Todd.

Roleplaying as Todd would require lining up the entire population, and jamming red white and blue corporate dick into their anus.

 

The gameplay video on that area is p. funny. I lost count how many time dogmeat fell down the edge, it happens everytime the player boards the lift on the side of the building.

 

And fucking millennials are just going to make another dumbfuck maymay out of it just like the stupid arrow in the knee or superpowered giants.
Oh for fuck sake.

 

You'd miss out on all the achievements. Please think of the cheevos!

Dog is probably important to the storyline. My guess is that he'll sacrifice himself to save you like in Fable or something like that. Or maybe they listened to the fanbase, who complained so much about Dogmeat getting creamed in high level battles that Broken Steel introduced a perk that causes him to respawn whenever he dies.

Someone mentioned it was a smaller map than FO3 but denser in terms of places to explore and shit to do.

Some of the highlights:

- saying "graphics don't matter" and "facial animations don't matter," then suggesting "the world looks colourful" as though that mattered
- "nothing is wrong with more of the same" (right)
- "it will be easy to mod" (as though leaving it to modders is an acceptable industry standard)
- the list only having 9 items on it

Forgive me if "the action is great" isn't a compelling reason why the game should have a narrative full of cliches, zero characterization, no C&C, no reactivity, etc.
