I must know if the lighting there is just as flat and ugly as in these screenshots.

 

I like how gaming journos get triggered by an insufficiently high level of hype from their audience. You can't find this sort of conceited behavior in any other industry.

Indeed. Usually it's the opposite, really. Most film critics, for example, realize that if they fall for that hype and blindly praise the film it could cost them whatever credibility they have. Most journalists in other industries don't engage in circlejerks around the internet before release either, while the average gaming journo is no better than the average redditor (and many of them are average redditors), except they have a professional editor to fix their grammar.

 

Any comparison between gaming journos and legitimate media critics makes me shiver.
