CD Projekt is mediocre at best, no surprise there. They don't even really care about DRM they just chose the anti-DRM angle as a marketing niche.

So Project Eternity, Carmageddon, and Faster Than Light are not "jumped upon", then? :D

Those are three kickstarter projects that I know I can talk about publicly as being "jumped upon". Criticism is fine but please have enough decency to do some research :D

Your words and I responded to them by naming projects that have been jumped at. Where is the problem?

The point is that they didn't jump at the games PosledniKovboj is interested in and which he fucked up at funding. This means they are shit.

PosledniKovboj perhaps you should have phrased your letter to them thus, in the grand tradition of submissions to broadsheets:

    Dear GOG.com

I find your failure to jump at Kickstarter/Indiegogo projects which I find interesting to be most disappointing. Obviously you know nothing about the game distribution business, since you cannot identify the games which I like. I find this very irritating, and will no longer patronise your obviously failing business.

    Yours sincerely,

    Irate in Islamabad

Jaesun What part needs clarification? It is a pretty convoluted sentence...

Just a bit disappointed this could not be on GOG. As for the WHY is a bit unclear.

I was claifying that I did apply, despite some doubts on pricing being forced down and exposure being potentially pretty limited. It could be buried in the catalog and never offered as an upsell or announced as a new release or whatnot. Then supporting this doubt by saying this is exactly what happened elsewhere (without the lowered price). When they rejected it they told me that had they accepted it they would have wanted to price it at $9.95, but that was clearly after saying no. Worst of both worlds: having to promote, pay a high commission and sell at a low price. Unless of course they display it prominently enough to have volume compensate but that is a big gamble.

But this wasn't the reason it was rejected. They just told me their plates were full in 2012 (back in March) and didn't respond to a second application I sent a couple weeks ago (yet, I suppose it could still happen). Actually you're right... the "why" is rather unclear.

I'm not criticizing them... I try not to be publicly sore about things... Too often :)

Gog responded this morning, apologizing for not having answered the second application which they found in the spam box and confirming that they don't think SSU is a good fit for GoG.

Yes. They are watching. Shhhhhh. :D

I did suspect that but just because someone is polish... Wasn't sure. Anyway I don't think I wrote anything offensive but writing without tone can be misinterpreted. I might have come accross as a sore loser.

Which is entirely untrue! Too oldschool for Gog! I wear that as a badge of honor. :obviously:

I seem to remember enjoying this, but it's open ended IIRC and the planned sequel never materialized.

One of the best games nobody played (me included ).
I've heard that controls are worse than NWN's camera. y/n?
