I tried playing it a few times when it was still considered Abandonware, but indeed never bothered to get past my issues with the controlls.

    Interactive movie, eh?
BTW, is that really a trademark symbol after "Interactive Movie"?

It's not really an interactive movie, that was a marketing term at the time.

Yes, the controls are absolutely horrible, much worse that NWN2 camera. However, it is the only major flaw in the game. If you get over them, a real surreal and atmospheric experience awaits. It is a part of gaming history, Bioforge pushed the envelope way, way back, was way ahead of its time, and is now mostly completely forgotten. It was a time where innovative and intelligent games were given AAA budgets.

Also, the dated 3d graphics lend a unique atmospheric, futuristic feeling to the whole thing. It is a fantastic game, if you enjoy surreal, futuristic things.

While Interplay does have some GREAT classic games, Herve makes money off each sale.

You could always troll him by paying the 1 cent minimum for 8. Good luck taking your cut from that Herve! Actually I'll probably do that to get the MAX games at least.

Brian Fargo himself decided to throw $100 to GoG.

It's kind of a shit deal honestly. First tier is mostly garbage. JA2:UB? Lol. Just get JA2 Gold on Steam. The second "tier" is OK, but it's around $15 anyway, just pick three better games or wait for one of those amazon/steam sales. Third tier, half those games everyone should have already and the other half are pretty yawn. Shogo? Redneck Rampage? Kingpin? Who cares?

I understand supporting GOG and all, but this is mostly going to whatever is left of the smoking wreckage of Interplay and Herve's kickstart to his kickstarter. Just get a handful of Good Old Games from another publisher.

Eh, M.A.X. is worth 1 cent alone, so it's a good enough deal.

... Kingpin is not a bad game, either. But I don't understand this new "slider/game/puzzler/gimmick" thingy. If I want buy a game, I just buy... why I must toying with these "by 10 and you'll get 20". Gee... this is a game shop, not a second hand for the Christ codpiece...

Ps. When they understand, they are dealing with the proper adults not a... dunno what - marketing dummies straight from marketing textbooks.
Ps2. Even, if it is just a little "promo"...

I just stuck with .99, I could have entered .01?

    :rage:

Anyway, does anyone want Max 1 and 2? I already had it so I can gift it.
