Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Is Evil Within good for a very stealth focused gamer? Or is it much more RE style survival horror?

Both games have stealth, but it's better in 2. More open spaces and freedom, at least in the beginning. In both games you need to stealth though since you don't have enough ammo to go out full guns blazing.

Codex 2012 MCA

Need for it to be Amiga or some other emulation might cause some problems.

The need for the rom images is probably the big stumbling block, would need to either license Amiga Forever or get the roms from the company who actually owns the rights, Hyperion if I'm not mistaken. I think Defender of the Crown and a few other games are actually Amiga-versions, so who knows.

When a company like Konami release something like the Castlevania Collection, do they contact/pay Nintendo to emulate them? Honest question, I have no idea.

Emulation is legal in the US (lots of processes in the US where companies tried to stop emulators and failed), so no they don't. I assume nobody has sued in other countries to test that logic

Sword of stars worth a damn? Seems there's a RTS space combat and a rogue-like? Same universe I guess?

I love it, it's sort of MoO1 sequel - randomized tech tree, simple planet development with sliders and minimal micromanagement with focus on big scale strategy. Not a big fan of RTS combat but the rest of game is cool (also features a very interesting idea of every faction having its own unique interstellar movement technology resulting in very different gameplay/shitton of replayability)

GOG Galaxy 2.0 is poised to leave beta soon, but in the meantime a new update has arrived that you can download now.

Living up to its goal to be a unified launcher, GOG Galaxy now includes your gaming subscriptions. They're collected by default, too, so once you update the client you should see them appear straight away.

With the likes of Game Pass for PC and Uplay+, a lot of folks' games are now attached to subscription services, and if you're trying to juggle multiple subs, you can now see them all in one place. Download the update and you'll be able to browse and install these games just like you would with the ones you own outright.

Update 5 also lets you link multiple executables to any game, and you can customise them with your own launch parameters, too. This should be handy for modding, cheats and playing different versions of a game, like 64-bit or 32-bit variants.

Other new additions include using custom sorting titles to organise your games, UI improvements and better scrolling, as well as a bunch of fixes.

GOG announced that the new client, which has been in open beta since late last year, would soon be launching, replacing the old GOG Galaxy, but there's still no date for that yet. If you use GOG Galaxy 1.2, you won't see these changes, but anyone can update to the beta version. I highly recommend it, since it's light years ahead of its predecessor (and Steam, Epic, Origin and so on) and is largely problem free.

Was kinda hoping for a sale for Steel Division 2. Too bad there wasn't a war game sale or something for a nice discount.

None of those interest you?

That's not the point. There's lots of games on gog that could fit into a WAR GAME sale, Iratus, Egypt - Old Kingdom and Reventure wouldn't exactly fit that category; and yet Steel Division 2, which absolutely would, isn't in the sale. I'm not even mad at GOG over this kind of stuff, more like perplexed and confused as to their choices. If GOG was a Crusader Kings 2 character, it would definitely have arbitrary as a trait.

I don't know, maybe Eugen don't want to discount it yet. Your guess is as good as mine. Their older titles have been on sale before at GOG.

Summer sale isn't far away. I can wait. Besides, the Rona virus has me saving all my money for booze, bandaids, and bullets.

Shame they only got the worse version of Deus Ex HR, with unbalanced DLC mixed in and worse graphics. Hopefully they add the original as an extra eventually like they did with Bioshock.
