Yeah, I noticed, it does look like fun from what I saw.

It's still GTA through and through, just smoother and the cops are a bitch to get off you. Individual cone of sight on the cops now.

Dogs are in too, he shot a hick then their dog and well it's bloody massive. View distance isn't bad either: for a console.

 

The combat looked a lot more lethal, he went down very quick with few shots. I like.

 

Agreed, shotgun was much more accurate from a reasonable distance too.

I'm speculating on what I saw but it looks like car damage has been reduced for other processes. Doesn't crumble as much and less particles but I didn't see a big enough crash.

 

Yeah players have been saying they are tanks now.

It took a full on collision with a train to destroy one l

 

Here's hoping they took some of the shooting mechanics over from Max Payne 3 into the new game. That shooting felt pretty good to me..

Russian stream, seems to be doing story missions so spoilers are inevitable.

Yup, finally it may feel good to shoot in a GTA game, always felt it was awful.

Not sure how I feel about toughened cars, better for missions, worse for cop chases (as in cop cars will be annoying to take out) and they'll have armored vehicles and SWAT vans too.

Pretty cool so far.

Which seems kinda silly since I hear the review embargo is over tonight/tomorrow or some shit. And since reviews are going out early they apparently aren't afraid that they didn't pay the reviewers enough the game isn't good. Wouldn't think streams would make much of a difference if at all. I certainly didn't see anything that put me off the game.

That's a shame, IV did a decent enough job with how durable the cars were. Ah well, one more for the modding list then.

I guess this was done because they made a greater focus on the racing aspect, for multiplayer too. Can't say I like it, but it's understandable...
