Well if I had the money, I probably would support them, but there will certainly be better kickstarters to give my money to (like Xenonauts, Dead State, Obsidian...). And that the lowest tier costs 18$ doesn't help too. I mean from all these arpgs (Diablo 3, Torchlight 2) this one is best suited to my liking.

Pledged $35. Apparently some dude has promised to give them 100k if they reach their goal...not sure how much I believe it but still that is quite awesome if true.

Yea, the updates on their KS. DF quoted them on the previous page.

Kickstarter has a 10k limit on pledges. The devs confirmed in the KS comments that they'd been in touch with the person, so I guess it's at least possibly legitimate.

Why let jewazon take a cut if he can fund them directly? Apparently it's some Serge Tremblay, senior consultant at IBM or w/e. It's in the comments.

Well presumably he won't give it through KS. Actually it's kind of stupid for him to post it there as all the potential backers will be like "oh there's 100k coming in from this dude so they don't need my money".

But it will be pretty wicked if he does.

If you're into those type of games, Grim Dawn looks like the best one considering the fact that Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 look like utter shit, so why not?

18$ tier gives you the game and the illusion of a good deed. And I would say is a safer bet than Dead State, where the developers are back in production ONLY because of kickstarter, which makes their dedication "questionable".

As for me, I think I have Kickstarted fever or something: today I backed like 9 projects including GrimDawn. Not big amounts, like 15$ per game. I don't know what the fuck happened, but it probably involved a Freudian slip-up.
In case of Grimdawn, the screenshots were nice and I'm a sucker for open-world aRPGs. And for the rest, they should get a chance "to happen" without publishers interference.

Less than 2000$ to meet the goal now. And with 11 days to go.
