Gry.o2.pl got down to business with Silent Dreams about Grotesque - Heroes Hunted</a.

Klecha (Gry.o2.pl): What can you tell us about the storyline in Grotesque: Heroes Hunted?

Rayk Kerstan (Silent Dreams): One of the most special things in Grotesque is that you are playing a hero which could be you. Roger is an RPG fan and played thousands of games, he likes to play his guitar and loves metal. Than, on a normal day, his life changes and he lands in a fantasy world and the only thing his head says to him is: "Hey, a fantasy world? And I have an amnesia? I must be a chosen one and have to rescue the world or a beautiful princess or something else!"... In real he is nothing more than everyone else there. So he uses his own RPG experiences to survive in the World of Grotesque. And that is what he has to do, because some really evil creatures have a problem with this guitar hero.

    This sounds pretty silly.
Also, 'than' and 'then' are not interchangeable.

Dress-up doll customization isn't the prerequisite to something being an RPG.

I've stopped reading after second sentence.

"Modern RPGs are [...] too complicated."

Special. As in retarded. That's where my money would go.

    Er, wow.

To be fair, the game has some potential for parody. Will it be actually funny... we'll see. Probably translation's gonna rape that.

Good cause I was sick of the hero being born into privelage like a farm-hand or a tribal or a fucking corpse... Well I suppose he wasn't born a corpse.

    heh

Isn't this a complete ripoff of the Ultima games, except in a retarded way?

Say what you will about the Avatar, at least he's not some lame rock-star wannabe.

Might be interesting - there's not enough metal in RPGs :)

But probably it'll be Iron Maiden metal or even worse Trivium metal or *gasp* in the worst case - Limp Bizkit metal.
