There's a small preview of Hammer & Sickle over at GameCloud. It's only about five paragraphs so not much new info there. However, there are some screenshots. Anyway, clip:

The game puts you in the role of a Russian secret agent in Germany that's going deep undercover. How deep? In the first mission your own Russian troops will try to shoot your character deep. That's rough. Anyway , you first pick what kind of character you want to play (soldier, scout, sniper and heavy weapons man) and you also get to pick one of many different head skins you can use. The gameplay from Silent Storm has not changed much. You get a certain amount of "action points" that allow you to move your character and accomplish different tasks. Then your enemies get their turn to move at you. Eventually you get to control more than one character and those characters can increase their skills during the playing of the game.

Well, given the choices, I think I'd go with sniper. If Russian soldiers want to shoot me, I'll pick them off from a distance.

I've started playing Silen Storm a couple of days ago, and I must say I'm loving it!

I'll be looking forward for this release. :)
