There's an interview with Vladyslav Artyukhov about Heart of Eternity over on RPGDot. There's also some nice screenshots there as well. Here's a little bit about what role playing type goodness will be in this game:

RPGDot: HoE has been described as an rpg. Could you describe the game experience more precisely? What are the game's main ingredients?

Vladyslav Artyukhov: It is possible to play and complete the game using both combat as well as diplomacy. The variety of answers from an NPC depends on his attitude to the hero and his intelligence. Though the combat is accented, experience can be accumulated through finding peaceful solutions as well. Some quests can be solved through puzzles. Combat is in Real Time and there is the opportunity to combine fighting skills with magic. Fighting with horses, is an original concept too.

Good. I love to fight with horses. I hate those four legged bastards. COME GET SOME, HORSE!

    Thanks, Dhruin!

I really like Mr. Artyukhov's very matter-of-fact, hype-free way of talking about his game. It's a breath of fresh air after the likes of D.W. Bradley.

I like all the answers except this:

i would imagine some compromises would have to be made to make it multiplayer. why not just make it a purely single player game along the lines of gothic and devote attention on story and gameplay?

BTW it reminds me alot of Gothic. now let's hope some of the promises made (multiple factions and solutions to problems) in interview are kept.

The trailer released on rpgdot a week or 2 back made it look alot like gothic, not a bad thing IMO. This guy Artyukhov is saying all the right things too.

Yes, he spoke well and seems HoE has all the good features going in what RPG should have.
The man cut right into the cheese and told what races there are and how the combat works.
    Good publicity for new company.
We shall see if those features make into the game.

Does any1 know what platforms this will be released ?
Hopefully not only console title.
