Like we had anything to choose from during beta, and after the release our card collections were already too big to abandon. Besides, unlike WoW there is no drawback to playing on European servers as communication with other players is limited to emotes

 

Because NA is much easier both in arena and constructed.

 

It's actually the other way around.

Note how Ratsmah effortlessly got 12-0s on the EU during his streak and got losses on the NA server.

Note how pro players always make accounts in EU to do their "start to legend F2P" series. (and always hit legend on those F2P from scratch accounts pretty easily)

Hint: It's because the Euro server is much, much softer.

It's basically easy-mode. To be fair the asian servers are even easier somehow lol.

Edit: Just dawned on me how MTG is almost identical. The top-tier players are primarily American with a few Euros sprinkled in then like 1 or 2 crazy Japanese guys. Guess that's just how it is for card games. Admittedly, we're pretty bad at playing MOBAs, but god-tier at profiting off of them.

 

Meh, I may set up another account on NA once I git gud.

 

Do you get a free arena straight away if you register a new account or do you need to farm some bot games?

I was watching a tournament on twitch some weekends ago and one of the commentators mentioned how a big thing among players on asian servers is to take their turn as fast as possible to show off how good their decision making is. Thought that was pretty weird/funny, considering that one of the best players in the world is a German who burns rope on damn near every single turn. Another fascinating insight into the azn mind.

 

Yeah I remember from a Reynad stream in 2014 he was talking about how he ran Pit Lord and Nightblade in a balls to the wall aggro deck on Asia and crushed the ladder to legendary since they're so aggressive.

 

Having to farm the practice mode on the NA/AZN servers to unlock all the heroes and get a freebie arena + some gold is almost as painful as having to farm ladder for dailies and gold.

Sweet. Do you have any legendary's left to craft you can dust the golden Toshley for, or are you collecting golden cards now and gonna keep him?

 

I didn't have Toshley and I already have almost all good legendaries, so I'm going to keep him for now. Put him in my Tempo Mage, maybe he'll do a good job. I also like to collect golds, I even craft some from time to time.

That's not really what I said, but I'm super flattered that I anally devastated you so hard that you're not only still whimpering about it literal years later, but follow me into threads for games you don't care about. This was an incident so crushing that your memory of it has twisted and contorted into feverish delusion. In reality, what I said was something along the lines of cheering on US teams and claiming that US servers were harder to hit diamond or whatever on than Euro East and HueHue. Which is, or rather was, don't know about now, objective true. Plus, at the end of the day, these are a bunch of third worldians funneling money into an Godmerican game. Maximum overkek.

Keep it up anyways plebstratus, even if it's kind of weird that 3 years later you're following me into other threads because I dominated you so thoroughly.
