That's still far more interesting than "I PLAY ALL OF THESE BANANAS FOR FREE AND THEY EACH DEAL 2 DAMAGE AND CREATE A FIREBALL."

Yeah I agree but the pure RNG nature of this one isn't much better.

Just found out that the class spells you get are random.

still better than banana brawl :smug:

A primary reason why I'm so harsh on banana brawl is that these tarvern brawls should allow new players to have another 'casual' game mode where they can complete quests and have fun. Entering that mode and facing Tempo Mage or Zoo with tiny modifications is retarded and goes entirely against the point.

Yeah, seems like the Charge Rhino is the key card in this. Whoever drops it first and doesn't get it silenced will most likely win.

Well this brawl is definitely disappointing. I wonder how long it will be before the unstable portal brawl...?

    No.

This brawl is still the best one because it has the most variety.
Yeah, it is RNG shitfest, but so were the previous two. In the first one you played the same 2 decks over and over, and the second one quickly devolved into the flamewaker duels. Here at least you get to play and face different beasts and spells every time.
The banana brawl had the right idea with letting players make their own decks, but the special condition was poorly thought out. Imo Rag vs Nef was the worst one, same decks every game and stupid overpowered cards.

Wtf, you cant make your own deck in this brawl? The spells are all random here? This is fucking shit. The previous one at least had lulzy deckbuilding (obviously imba but that was part of the charm)

Extremely boring brawl. Free cards please (playing against someone roping every turn though, lulz).

Edit: second molten giant from card pack. Not too shabby.

Next Brawl will probably be Unstable Portal.

    Pretty useless guide imo.

Pointing out the hidden quests is OK but there is no substance in this besides that. What new players really need is a comprehensive guide on how to not suck at the actual game.

The "Trump's teachings" series is way more valuable, Trump explains actual card game concepts and drops useful ingame knowledge for newbs.

Unfortunately, it doesn't really work like this if you aren't an analytical and generally good player. I know people who play this game for months and still stuff Voodoo Doctors in their Warrior decks or never break rank 10 despite having a full collection. Coincidentally, the mindset of these people is "let me explore the game alone, I wan't to learn from my own experience" and then they repeat their mistakes over and over, not even noticing that they are doing something wrong.

You generally cannot ignore other player's resources in a PvP game if you want to get really good at it, because chances are the other x million players discovered something you were not aware of that improves your game.
Using existing resources to your advantage at least seriously speeds up the learning experience and makes you competetive way earlier than you would be on your own, this is even more true if you are a hopeless noob and not able to analyze plays and strategies on your own (and most people are hopeless noobs).

It just hurts my brain watching players play this game for months and still doing the most retarded misplays imaginable.

UglyBastard is quite right. Still, many people play for fun and to open packs, and less to climb as high as they can in ranks. I personally make my main decks follow a certain theme, even if it is detrimental. For example I would never use a minion like Leper Gnome in my Paladin deck, because I don't feel it fits the Paladin well. :P

Word is it's not really an expansion but something related to the Argent Tournament from WoW, due to the Paladin references. Probably some type of new tournament mode?

Hope so, not ready for a new expansion. Still have 2 wings of BRM left to unlock (never got Naxx, since I don't really care for the cards except perhaps the final wing for Shade)

Emperor and Chromaggus alone are superior to anything in Naxx. If you play Pally (like I do) Dragon Consort is incredible, especially in conjunction with certain other dragons. I have also been able to use Rend quite well, despite it's bad repute. My opponents don't expect it, and I can give it a very nice boost from Sword of Justice. Grim Patron is also good for warriors (though yeah it's very annoying how every warrior is playing it)

Kel'Thuzad seems a lot more valuable than anything from BRM.

Yes really. Someone who main-ed Priest for much of his Hearthstone career is not really an authority on what cards are good and bad.

Sludge Belcher alone makes Naxx worthwhile.

Chromaggus is not that great though, really. Unless you immediately use it to draw a card somehow (novice engineer, etc), it's an overcosted 6/8 that WILL get murdered the next turn.
If it doesn't get murdered next turn, then you were already winning anyway or are already too far behind for it to count.
