Yep, these are some really bad cards. On Friday they'll be doing a stream showcasing a large release. Hopefully there's a few decent ones in there.

Yeah, I was wrong about gold per game. Conceding also doesn't work, apparently the win condition of this brawl is to get your health reduced to zero, then get "ice blocked", after which the opponent explodes

  4. Are there multiple games named "Hearthstone"?

    [edit]

Never mind. I am confusing "Stonehearth".

Another supremely slow card, but at least it might be fun. Or not so fun if your Hunter opponent has it while casting Call of the Wild.

Harrison Jones just became ubiquitous! Only a Druid could get significant results out of this in a single turn. If people consistently play this, everyone will have Jones and hold it until the late game against the 'caster' classes. I sometimes run Jones + Ooze depending on what I'm facing at the moment.

I don't think you would ever be in need to tech your deck against this card.

It's a fun card but I doubt it will see much play. It's cool in slowrolling control decks, stuff like Reno mage etc. If you check the meta, you are basically dead if you have enough mana to cast this minion. Even if you manage to get to turn 8, Huntard will just Call you after dropping this super slowroll minion for gg (replace Call with Doomhammer / Grom / random face charger).

Don't get me wrong, it looks fun and strong if you can capitalize on it, I will certainly try it out. But it will NEVER EVER be meta shaping. If you are teching against this card, you are doing it wrong. Weapon removal in general is pretty good atm tho, so if you are already playing Ooze and it eats Atiesh by chance, good for you.

I think it's more an issue of BRM rotating out in six to eight months so they need to add a bunch of dragon cards to keep it alive.

That's the point -- people are already teching heavily against weapons because Warriors and Shaman probably make up 50% of the meta. Anyway, Antonidas is a superior card for mages since even junk like coin and mirror will get you two fireballs versus trashy 0-1 mana minions. Druid will probably play it. Priest, too, since they don't have too much in the way of finishers.

A free Summoning Stone that can't be killed except by tech... that could be pretty fucking powerful, especially when you look at decks like Hunter that have tons of excellent spells. Or it could be too slow and we go right back to aggro aggro aggro.

    Seems solid.

Really good for Druids who could use a healing card that isn't a total waste of a deck slot. Only four or five out of the thirty or so six costs minions have awful stats (like Corrupted Seer). On average it's a lot stronger than Antique Healbot which almost everyone played except Warriors.

    Moat Lurker looks fun.

EDIT: Seriously, though, I think I'd probably rather buy BRM. This all looks boring as hell.

Right, there has got to be a specific reason why blizzard is releasing such a shitty adventure. I mean, seriously, three or four cards are good, couple of 'em playable, the rest, utter garbage. And what the hell is is with Purify? I mean, WHAT THE FUCK?

I see no more than ten or so cards that will see regular play. Almost all of the neutral cards are terrible/too gimmicky. Terrible compared to LoE.

I'm assuming Moat Lurker's deathrattle is resummon for your opponent and not you otherwise it would be utterly broken. You can pull off some wacky stuff with N'Zoth decks but nothing great.

This is as bad as BRM -- paying 700g per wing for two good cards.

BRM is insane value compared to this - Flamewanker, quick shot, twilight whelp, lava shock, imp gang boss, demonwrath, revenge, blackwing tech/corr, Emperor and a couple of fun, but mostly okayish cards. Ofc, there was also the reason everyone got in there. Also, BRM had 30 cards, One night in development has 45.

Dragon Consort is also a quite powerful card, with nice art. Sadly, it saw almost no competitive play. Hopefully, it will see play after this adventure shit.

EDIT - Also, the Bishop doesnt say "summon a random monster", just "summon a monster". If that's not an oversight, then it's a quite good card. Wont make priest playable since that's not what we need, but it will certainly see play when/if priest comes back.

^ This looks like it could be the best card in the adventure. Nightmare scenario if they play that 5/5 stealthed tiger on turn 5.

I'm interested to see if the Rogue minion/weapon helps at all. Technically it's already costed to a hero power + deadly poison, but it also puts a minion on the board. I like it and hope it turns out playable. I managed to get my Rogue to Rank 6 last season and a lack of minions on board was always the biggest problem (that and Shamans, particularly Shamans whose Tuskar Totemics kept rolling the best totems). There is also the "hero is invincible" minion which is also in competition for a similar mana cost. Only problem is that I think anti-weapon tech is going to keep rising which hurts Rogue the most, IMO.

I think Moat Lurker might see a lot of play. Hard removal + a minion on the board seems pretty powerful on paper, anyway.

I can't believe how awful the Priest cards turned out to be. I thought for sure they might get something OP.
