Yar. Co-op multiplayer up to god knows how many players, and one of the previews even hinted at very large LAN sessions with instanced dungeons and many, many players in each.

Bull. The minute you have to shoot moving things it is twitch enough.

In any case good luck to the site and all that jazz.

Actually a lot of the weapons home in on their targets or do spray/wave/area damage. Melee's all about running up to your target and pressing the left and right mouse buttons which are linked to the skills, similar to Diablo 2.

So no, it's not really 'twitch'. Well, it'll be about as 'twitch'-based as Diablo 2, to be fair. Nothing on the HL2 level of twitch. Besides, it's not like there's an AWP weapon you have to worry about, so shooting first isn't important. Hence, little to no 'twitch'.

I have a feel of how the system works.

My point is, there is always a level of twitch in shooters because, wheter pure player skill-based or a combination of player skill and arbitrary values, the game still expects you to be fast enough to move around and shoot at moving targets. Granted, the outcome of these things is governed by a background set of statistical info, but you're still "twitching" a bit. In a way it's akin to Morrowind - your base damage and evade stats are running in the background but its still the player that decided when and where he runs to, and how fast he moves the aiming reticule and fires the weapons. These elements aren't governed by background values but by our own personal "twitch" skill.

Nonetheless, hope it turns out to be a good game.

Actually, Hellgate: London is an action RPG from an FPS viewpoint. I mean look, it's not like it's the first ever first person RPG. Just take a look at Ultima Underworld 2, or for a more accurate comparison, Dungeon Master.

And yes, Bill Roper WILL make you his bitch.

Heh - U:UW is a lot more of an RPG than this will ever be - I'm sure. And Dungeon Master is a freaking party based dungeon romp. Great comparison... really.
