    Hi folks,

I am looking for a game I played as a kid. I played it at the age of 10 - 12 which would have been somewhere around 2000 but it must have been a lot older. I am guessing early to mid 90s since it had 2D graphics.
You played some kind of overlord that could create spells by mixing ingredients together, create new monsters by mixing races (?) together, conquer lands and do some other things I cannot really remember anymore.

When you chose to conquer a land the screen would switch to an isometric battlefield where you and your creatures would move around in real time (you only controlled your main character). You could use your self created spells there and had to do some objectives, I think. You were also wielding a huge hammer or something and were walking around in full armor. I also recall that upon entering battlefield you were flown in by a flying chariot.

Some battlefields were open landscapes, some dungeons, although I might be mistaken in that.

I fear that's about everything I recall, I know it's not much information but possibly someone can make something out of this.

    Thanks already bros and sis'!

Sort of sounds like Mail Order Monsters but that's a 1980's game.

Hmm, that's not it but from reading a bit about it it does share some similarities, yes.

Every once in a while he does post some screenshots of inclinous games but its between mountains of shit mobile phone games; I guess you could say he is just imitating the average codexer's gaming experience post 99, wading through tons of filth to discover a decent game every few years/decades.

balmorar probably has an extensive knowledge of every game ever made and, having played all the worthwhile games, is now doomed to play shit mobile games for all eternity.
