Review IGN prefers Diablo to Blade & Sword

You have combo moves as well, but it gets tedious since the fourth hit always knocks the target down and you can't hit them while they're prone. This wouldn't be so irritating if it didn't take so many hits to kill even an entry-level grunt. Some may find this difficulty "challenging," but it ends up being a time-padding feature that drags the game out a lot longer than it deserves.</blockquote>

    There's a few reasons why I'd put Diablo over B&S.

    1) B&S feels unpolished. Some of the monsters are way overpowered especially at the beginning.

    2) B&S lacks the phat l3wt element that made Diablo so popular and it takes a really, really, really long time to get upgrades for your weapons and equipment (with the gems) because you have to find the NPCs first.

    3) There is no multiplayer. I think the chinese version has multiplayer but Whiptail never bothered to import that.
