With that logic, a shop owner demanding money from a customer in exchange for goods would be blackmailing the customer.

I will only stop at stop lights if they are red. I've got the government in the blackmail.

In my country the system operates YOU
What I meant is there is yet one more tool who works there. Almost everyone seems to be an idiot or an asshole, or both, so why support a company full of moronic assholes? There are plenty of people in the industry who are at least not complete assholes, and I think people who are tools are not likely to make a very good game anhyhow.

Because they make good games (for me at least).
Otherwise, yes, they do seem like they put no passion whatsoever into their work.

Well, now the interview exists here on this site. Someone should e-mail M-the-fag-K and give him a link to it. Everyone should post it on their web sites and Google bomb it. He is powerless about it now.

Don't do it! Frankly, it would be very hard for me to continue with him as an enemy.

You are right. I know his type well. He won't stop there. He will pursue his own roads to do something horrible.

Could this title be any more over-dramatic and stupid?

Very easily, how about "Kirkbride censors Imperial Library" for something more overly dramatic or "Exploding Badger wipes out Internet page" for something a little more stupid?

Either way, there was an interview that was critical of Bethesda, it has now been erased (rubbed out). A fairly accurate title for the thread I would have thought...

I would've told Captain Kirkwood to go fuck himself, kept the interview online AND all of his fanfiction shit and then said "So sue me". It's odd that he'd think taking an interview down would somehow remove it from the internet too. Plenty of people go file -> save as to stuff they like. Even better, there's always the google cache.

Here's an example of blackmail: You give me money or I show your wife pictures of you with your mistress, a midget and a golden retreiver.
Here's an example of extortion: You give me money or I smash your fucking face in.

The difference is that one of them must involve the dissemination of information that one party wishes to remain unkown.

..and no it isn't a "cover up", its an issue of sometimes people say things in the heat of the moment that they don't fully mean...
But how are they going to cover up the game?

It just goes to show that video games are the works of the Devil. I thought you folks would appreciate that sort of thing. It's all fun. Damn.
