Codex 2013 Codex 2014 PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire MCA Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
Aside from vidya games being a small industry (see MCA's recent talk) and the fact that Fargo would come across as bitter and rude if he were to bash a (sorta) rival and much more successful post-apoc RPG, I wonder if Fargo's maybe hoping to reach an agreement with Bethesda about using the trademark or at least parts of the setting/lore for his own Van Buren game.

Yes, looks like Fargo is trying to tap into a bit of F4 hype

Interesting, so looking at all the job offers for the New Orleans office it all requires experience in Unreal. Now, I'm assuming this is for the Bard's Tale 4, however, originally the Wasteland DC team was going to be the ones working on Bard's Tale. I think, especially with Chris Keenan becoming Project Lead on Torment, that they're going to have one team per office, meaning two projects in development at once. I will further speculate that Kevin had always planned on leaving after Torment, and that this was more of a "We're combining the two teams together now, so, since you're planning on leaving...".

Overreacting and writing deep analysis of Twitter quites never gets old.

Its like you people don't realize 99% of shit posted by devs on Twitter only happens because they were bored on a plane.

The same thing with people freaking out about porting Wasteland 2 to consoles.

Holy shit, they ported their post-apocalyptic game to consoles, and launched it 2 weeks before Fallout 4 comes out, right at the time when all the casual nu-Fallout fans where craving for their post-apo fix. Clearly there's some Illuminati-level secret plot behind this idea.

He wants some free publicity thats all. Gain attention by nuFallout fans, because you know, their money doesnt stink either. Aslong as he continues making good games for us i dont really give a shit.

Are we all forgetting that article where Fargo stated that he didn't agree with Bethesda's publishing styles (after they sent in a producer threatening to cancel the game while he was out on press).

This question was not coined by me:M

Anyway I was disappointed that Brother None didn't dream of working in the industry.

Why? It's not exactly some dream job unless you are exceptionally lucky like he was to land with InXile. For most people it's just being an overworked cog in the machine shitting out games.

Yup. Unless you're really, really lucky, its the shittiest gig you can land, as far as IT goes.

Sure, I just though that his case could be that "dream came true" example. But there was no dream in the beginning.
