This little gem http://tormentrpg.tumblr.com/post/45838607710/colin-talks-character-creation-romance plus the fact that Patrick Rothfuss is one of the game's writers makes me feel like InXile are up their own ass for T:ToN. Like, they are aware that they're making a successor to the "best written RPG of all time," so they're layering on the pretension and self-importance for this new one. It just seems to me like it takes serious balls to insult people when they ask why you're not including some degree of character customization. Plus, the line on the game's page "you can make these people whole again" with regards to the party members seems like the same old emotionally manipulative bullshit that modern RPGs love nowadays (cough, Bioware, cough).
Besides all that, the copious breaches of storytelling and worldbuilding logic in Wasteland 2 (not to mention it's bland, uninspired "save the world" plot) don't exactly give me confidence that InXile can pull off a smart and well written title.
