As title says. :D
Definitely yes, but get Dragon Knight Saga version (Ego Draconis + Flames Of Vengeance).

A run down:
+ A lot of good humour, the game is more often than not a pastiche of insanely high fantasy. Have you played Divinity: Original Sin? If so, it's almost, but not quite, entirely unlike DOS in that regard.
+ Awesome Soundtrack.
+ Imaginative, atmospheric and distinct locales with a lot of z-axis.
+ Some interesting use of mind reading and ability to fuck around in quests.
+ Can surprise you.
+ You can turn into a dragon.
+ You get your own fortress.

+/- It's a H&S rather than proper cRPG (think TPP Diablo with direct control and jumping around)

+/- Combat mechanics is uneven.
+/- It has platforming sections

- Dragon combat kind of sucks.
- There are some distinctly MMOish flavours to some elements.
- The initial part of Broken Valley is rather boring.
- It has fucking cooldowns!!!!!111wd348$%$%^%TF$%*%$#@!!:argh:

Yes and no. Ego draconis has fun a cooldown based combat system, really great genuinely funny dialogues and quests and a fantastic soundtrack.

On the other side you get the boring dragon combat and the last 5-10h of the game, which you spent killing endless hordes of monsters to collect a bunch of Macguffins. The game also massivley suffers from, cut content, i do not know a another game in which I constatly felt like stuff was cut out in the last minute. For example during the whole game people talk about Aleroth as this massive city and when you get there it's just a corridor and a room with respawning monsters.
The Addon on the other side is great from start to finish, it's pretty sad to think that if the publisher gave them more time Ego Drconis could be one of the greatest Action RPG of the last generation

Yes. The game is fantastic and the sublime Kirill's music makes it even more special.

Yes! Also, even if you feel like quitting, its absolutely worth suffering through the endless fortress crap in the lategame in order to play the addon.

I would honestly recomend anyone who play this part to use the in build cheats, it's obvoius painful padding

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
One of the few games that were so unmemorable that I remember nothing about it. I know for a fact I played it according to my Steam hours played. I also think I finished it. But I remember NOTHING. Actually, I remember one or two things:

There's a tower you climb in the first chapter.
And later on, there's a lot of flying fortresses that are all the same.

Typical Larian, leave it to them to not even have one memorable encounter, NPC, town or area.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Bubbles In Memoria A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit. Pathfinder: Wrath
Fantastic soundtrack, combines humor with rather melancholic atmosphere (due to ost and art direction), has very fun exploration due to the use of platforming and dragon form, has a couple of cool puzzles and quests, particularly in the expansion. action and story is meh tier but w/e.

ARPGs aren't my cup of tea usually but this game is a really surprising little gem. i look back fondly on playing it.

It's certainly good enough to give it a whirl, despite some shortcommings. Someone here called it "the best shit game he played". If that isn't a good recommendation, I don't know.
It doesn't take itself too seriously, but in comparison to D:OS, I think the humor in Ego Draconis worked much better.

That was me, but I was referring to Divine Divinity.

It's not a very good game, but it can be a fun romp.

Combat is poor, and basically all the gameplay mechanics are a washed up second rate open world ARPG hack and slash. Story is nonsensical monkey typewriter like all Larian games. But it also has some indulgent 'haha hey' moments like turning into a dragon, and it's probably got the most actually funny bits in a Larian game, with all the RPG trope pastiches. It can also sometimes have nicely built locales to wander round in.

It's such a godawful slog until you finally claim the tower and the dragon form, I probably gave up at least thrice before that stage. The game does pick up after that, however. It's a pretty okay game if you haven't got anything better to play, or if you just want to be a dragon.

I enjoyed Divinity 2 more than Divinity Original Sin and if it wasn't for that escort sequence towards the end I wouldn't really have that many complaints about it besides maybe the just kill everything zones with the generals in them.

Garbage game full of garbage "humor" and garbage mechanics like autoaim arrows. It has garbage voice-acting and 3rd graders could come up with better humor. Hellgate: London is a first person Diablo clone done right, Divinity 2 is just trash just like all of Liarians other games save the original Divine Divinity.

Yes. Any game that has an Illuminatus reference is worth a go. Its also a damn fine action rpg imo.

Anomander Rake I’m assuming that you want to play as your namesake. If so, you should play Pathfinder: Kingmaker. There are a couple of builds that will let you turn into a big, black dragon.

If you want an ARPG, though, you can do a lot better than divinity 2.

Divinity 2 had a ridiculous amount of cut content. Their original investors lost confidence, and their new investors would only fund a third of the planned game.

They had 32 extra maps fully designed, and the mid-late game would have you travel to the homelands of the other races to make allies that could be used in an RTS style minigame.
