    Well most games are aimed at the 80% of dumbfucks that buy stuff. The truly prestigious number only in the remaining 20%. Of which those who are the most autistic prestigious eventually gravitate to the Codex. Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls are the most often used examples, but a better example is what they did to the DOW games > DOW3.

    I suppose we'll see a similiar thing with BG3 - but the 80% won't notice. Or won't even played the first 2.
