From my understanding, the mobile version that got ported back to PC contains new scenes, encounters, etc. At the same time it is also lacks several management options, PC UI, and manual saves.

So which is better, and why?

Mobile version is dumbed down and the difficulty has been lowered, but the core gameplay is still intact, and the forced semi-ironman via checkpoint saves works very well.

I'd say the mobile version is 'lesser' but not worse.
