So... ehrm... Morrowind + WoW + Dungeon Lords. Sounds alright to me. Hope there will be a demo, it may be one of those games where I actually need one.

http://www.38gamers.com/reckoning/wp-co ... ss-013.jpg Atrocious art style aside (it's trying to be WoW-stylized and near-photo-realistic at the same time and just looks wrong), I think that looks better than Skyrim. The animations look better too.

This seems painfully generic. And "Kingdoms of Amalur" sounds like some 14 year old's homemade d&d setting.

Salvatore & McFarlane? When did the participation of these two hacks become a selling point?

That was advertised from the very beginning.
And I still don't see what the Codex has against McFarlane...

Todd McFarlane is an extreme 90s artist with the aesthetic sensibilities of an edgy teen whose "style" hasn't changed/improved at all since he first started. Also I am really upset over his treatment of Neil Gaiman.

What sordid thing did he do to Neil Gaiman? He knows that Gaiman is married, right?

He refused to pay him any royalties for characters he created, which was a very hypocritical thing to do considering Image was put together with the intention of being all about creators' rights. Fortunately Gaiman sued and won.

Was my view on him. I read Spiderman back when he put his had on it. I most certainly didn't like it, but always read he was popular. Lets say he "reimagined" the look of all characters to some new extreme versions of who they were. Mary Jane gained 30 pounds, all in increased height and cup size.

McFarlane is really a case study.

Neil Gaiman, a hack artist/author popular with sad teenage girls feuds with Todd McFarlane, a hack artist/toymonger popular with angry teenage boys. Immense butthurt ensues, dozens of potential tall skinny guy + short fat girl couplings are aborted. The world is thrown into chaos!

    Good times. :M
