Ravenhord Keep - fortress builded around 300 years ago, as one of border network of fortifications part. (South border of Tarum with one of South Kingdoms, Garnak (8 and 9 on the map). It was 'pearl' in that system, one of most powerful fortresses of that time, never broken and atacked only once. During times before March Garnak often attacked Tarum and they finally managed to get enough materials to build that 'security' system. It was very good idea as attacked almost instantly stoped. Around 120 years ago it was abandoned, soon after Tarum Kingdom diappeared from map. Later it become base of bandits and some local warlords for long, long time. Twenty five years ago finally someone bought it from Council of Guilds for a lot of money, you heard it was some merchant, but you never heard anything else connected to the place, exluding thing that around ten years ago someone finally came to that place, dealed with any intruders and started to work there.

It was supposed to be razed by merchant people, to build something else on place of it, as it was itself preety much ruined by the time he bought it (a lot of time passed after all and bandits rather aren't best builders).

Voting locked. Wait to next update.

    FUCK FORGET AGAIN
    Results:

    1. Wizards locked in cells looked like they really would be trapped there... but what did you do? Do you free them, despite risk of begin caugh while destryoing sigils? But who knows, maybe they get out alive from that hell hole?
    Who knows...

You let wizards free for promise of debt and name of their magic circle and school. Also, you gained name of their 'leader' - Balthazar Namostok, profesor of Animation Magic, from Dragon Empire.

    2. Items on the table were probably very interesting... but you was forced to choose. You risk with you live for one of them, but what did you choose, when you didn't know what those can even do?

You taken rings with yourself... who knows what those can do.

3 In matter of seconds, you pulled Dambarg and Castor from death's door. You saved their live... but what about those that you left?

    Chapter 3
    Campfire under stars

    Sound background - Campfire
Your eyes open, slowly, as you try to not move your head. Pain still pulsates along with your heart and blood in your veins. You try to remember why even you bother with your pain, as you should be already dead, after fire eruption under your legs...

    - Oh, she woke up! - you heard voice of Regreh, not to far from you. As your eyes finally adjust to dark around, you finally can tell where you are. Forest. Night, with many stars above you. Campfire near you, with few people sitting around it. You hear familiar voice...

    - Oh, good. She will be fine then. - voice of creature still fills you with anxiety for some reason. You try to sit and you succeed, but not without some help from dwarf - She can even sit, impressive. I must say that I didn't know that entire fortress was under spell that could vanish like damn fucking town, but it at least feel me with some pride. Those who planned entire thing at least aren't some damn... bunglers.

You look around once more... Castor was sitting next to Samer, almost sleeping. Next to them, one of soldiers from Samer group, that man that carried Silvana. Missing hand, half of his face was burned and his entire chest was bandaged... from what you could tell, he shouldn't even be alive. Creature magic, probably.

You didn't saw Dambarg or Silvana, however. Or anyone alse. Exluding Madman, sleeping or still knocked out, next to creature. You look at Regreh and asks.

    - Damn it... are we only one alive? - your voice is still weak, but he hears you. You don't seems to be hurt, at least not at first glance. Regreh shakes his head.

    - No. Dambarg and Silvana also are still alive. You saved Dambarg ass, there, kid... well, not only his! Castor ass too! - he smiles to you, only to stop, seconds later- However... I don't think others had so much luck as we do... I didn't saw that damn elf around. Paladin girl may be still alive, but after I saw what actually happend there... I'm not so sure. Entire damn fortress exploded... - he looks at hooded creature - He... she...

    - You may call me 'it'. If you really want. - creature giggles and it make you shiver.

    - Yes... it saved our damn lives, later. You get knocked out after you hit one of rocks around with your head... after you pulled both of them from their death. I carried you, but it was... it that show us way to safety. - Regreh nods to himself - Anyway, Dambarg and his girl are not so far from there, he treat her wounds. He wanted to meet you after you wake up, so I think it would be nice if you do it... later.

You nods to Regreh... well, you saved his live. It seems that he may want to thank you. At least you would do that in his place.

    - Regreh, I think it is time to talk with our... companions. They may knew something we don't. - you looked at Samer and Creature. They responded with same thing. Creature broke silence.

    - Feel free to ask. You helped us, after all. - in meantime, Castor opened his eyes and smiled to you.

Regreh asked before you could stop him.

    - So, maybe, first... who are you? - Samer looked at hooded person... his eyes flashes in dark. After a while of weird silence, Creature respond.

    - I didn't knew that I disappear for such long time... Samer, people really start to forgot me? - it giggles as Samer looks away, a bit... embarrassed. He shakes his head, without responce. - Ah, but I should quit joking so much. This man, with gigant axe, is Samer, captain of my people. Those that you saw in Ravenhord were my soldiers... this one, last one alive is Morrow... he is lucky.

It looks at you, when under it's hood an smile, white as pure silver, appears.

    - I think you may know who I'm, my dear. After all, I was one who... well... used your mind. - You shiver as you finally know why you feel so weird near crature. It was same force that tried to get into your mind in prison - I'm sorry, but that was only way to send my people message where I was trapped. I hope you don't mind that, after all, we are free now. But tell me, do you know who I'm?

You think a bit... and almost scream when your knowledge transform into fear.

You found missing one. Great, fucking great - you think. For a second you almost think that it would be better to fall into damn inferno pit.

Infront of you, playing with stick, by putting into fire... Masked. One of Circle archmages. Disappeared 50 years ago... and you know where.

Masked laughs when your face changes it's expression, even if that was matter of seconds before you calm yourself.

    - Haha, so you know! Good! This give me some hope, Weaver... that is how you call yourself, right? Maybe you will tell your friend who I'm?

    - Well, Regreh, Castor... meet Masked, one of Circle. I think you know rest - you see how Castor face change, before he looks away. Regreh, on the other hand, smiles and nods.

    - Aye! Great to meet you! - he takes few steps and offer Masked his hand. Masked shake it and laughs.

    - Ahaha! I see that you have spirit, dwarf! This is why I love your kin... Now then, it's time to talk about other things, when we finally know each other. - Masked looks at Samer - Maybe you will start your tale about last 50 years in Known World, my dear? Well, wait! - it looks at you. - How long was you trapped there?

    - Around year, I think. - you respond. Nobody was sure how long you were actually trapped, becouse of spells in cells, but from informations that other people told you could say that it was around an year.

    - Good. So, Samer, tell us.

    Samer nods.

He starts with story about problems in Larnmarn. Something happend one night and in middle of Drunk Ward, portal opened. Creatures from portal killed hundreds of people as they attacked entire Ward and wards next to it, but suddenly, stopped just before dawn. After it, creatures escaped into portal and it closed. Larnmarn went into chaos and Council almost went batshit, blaming wizards and mages for what happend... well, it happend again, five days later. And another... and another.

Drunk Ward was now centre of war and city reacted to that. Entire town hired hundreds of guards, wizards and other people, trying to stop siedges of demonic force, but for now, they are in pat. Each five days, portal opens again and new enemy forces attack.

He continues with another story, about problems with Shonzang empire. They send an ambassador to Circle, an young prince with escort. Nobody know why, as Circle is silent about this. Masked nods at his words.

Rest of things aren't so interesting, mostly trade changes, bandits on roads... same things as everytime in Known World.

Masked looks at you and finally says.

    - I think it is good time to ask your questions. If you have any, feel free to ask... of course, don't think I must respond on them... and another thing...

I want to pay my debt. - it's words are strong as steel - Don't respond me with anything like 'You aren't in my debt', becouse I'm. You helped my soldiers and myself to get out of there. I will do... two of your wishes... if I can do them of course. All of you helped, so I will do it for everyone.

You look at Masked and everyone else...

    And you respond.

    ***

1 Masked ask you to tell your wishes, as it wish to pay it's debt to you. Be wary that it don't have enough power for all of it now, but when right time will come, it may pay... You choose:
    a) Help in finding people behind deaths of House of Servants agents. It happend when Masked was locked, but it still may help you, after all.
    b) About any informations behind people that captured you. Anything may lead you to those people... and this knowledge may lead you even further.
    c) You ask for some magic item/gold/spell or anything else you could think off. (Just give me your freeform suggestion)
    d) You ask for some people, to start to rebuild your own organization.
    e) You don't ask for anything yet. It is too soon to do it.
    f) You have another idea to ask for... (Freeform)

2 Dambarg - he asked you to visit him after you wake up. He isn't so far form place where your camp is and Regreh can show you way.
    a) You will visit him, as he ask, right away.
    b) You will do that later, when you finish asking and talking with others.
    c) You don't do that. You have more important things to do.

EDIT - Welcome to update, where you actually CAN ask any characters about anything. Want to talk with them about something, ask any questions or something else to do? Just write it up there. I know update is short but I'm finally able to write again and I hope you still want to read this shit I mean, my work. It is like Fangshi questions with characters. I give you two days, 48 hours and after that time I will finish second part of update, where you will actually vote what to do next... world will open for you then. From now, you can also always ask characters about anything... if this isn't middle of battle, of course.

Ask Regreh about the rings we recovered. If he can't help ask 'it' as long as it doesn't use a wish.

    Alrighto, answers!

    ***

You look at Regreh and touch your belt. From one of little pockets you take both rings and show it to him.

    - Do you know anything about those? I kind of found it in armory, just before we almost meet our deaths there... - Regreh takes both rings into his hands and examines them. After a while, he finally give it back to you, shaking his head.

    - Not too much, girl. This looks like priest work and this isn't something that I can know, I'm simple fighter, after all. But I'm pretty sure those are magical runes. But their meaning is interesting. It is dwarven sentence, one of our gods said it once to Gerpaw, human from our world. He was one of kin for us, after all those things that he had done for us. It is long tale, but... let's talk about this sentence for a while. It mean... in pure translation 'Know power...'. Or rather 'Know your strength/know strength of yourself, but remember about your limits'. - he scratches his head and mutters - But I think it should be translated like in our myth... 'Feel strength inside of you, but remember about fragility of your body'. Yes, like that. It is hard to translate things like that to common...

In meanwhile, you turn your head at place where Masked and Samer were, only to almost jump into air. Masked was sitting next to you, looking at rings.

    - Very nice things. I feel their power... almost like taste, you know. I like dwarven work, but I prefer their weapons... great for insfusing spells into them. And your runes, ah. Poetry. Pure perfection... I can tell you what those can do. - He touches both rings and they start levitating above it's hands. - Pviar arfo adxe, povis!

Both runes flashes with red light. Under Masked hood, another grin appears. You shiver when he looks at runes, but his face stay dark under hood... you should see it. You know about that, but you don't see anything, exluding that damn grin.

    - I activated them, becouse those weren't used for long time, my dear. I suggest find some magic source and get some power for them. And some magic user to transfer power, of course. Oh, almost forget. Those two can kill you if you aren't too careful with those. They will make you see more about world, in many meanings of this word, but will weak your body for a long while after use. Use it too long and your bones will break as they would be made from paper. Or just use someone as source for it. - Creature points at 'but remember' ring. - Just put it on someone and make sure he don't take it off. Have fun!

Rings falls into your hands and runes of them darken. You nods.

    - Thanks you... - you look at Masked for a second and it finishes sentence for you.

    - My dear. - it giggles and sit back on it's place. You shake your head a bit, but suddenly, Regreh touches your arm.

    - May we take a walk, girl? - he looks at you and confidentially tilts his head at Masked and Samer. You nods and finally stand on your legs. Masked voice stops you, however.

    - Wait a second. I forget to tell you. You have broken ribs... for now, my magic stops the pain, but I will be forced to use it on Morrow. Only my... treatment. Yes, treatment. - it nods to itself. - Only this hold him on this world. I'm sorry if you will feel bad for a while, but don't worry, I regenerated most of your ribs. However, I suggest to be careful for next few days.

You look at Regreh and he nods in response.

    - Yes, this is true... you fell on some rocks after explosion. I'm sorry but ground was bit... unstable. - he shakes his head.

    - Thanks you... my dear. - you say to Masked.

You follow Regreh into woods, probably in Dambarg camp direction. He stops after a while and looks around, carefuly. His expression changes, from calm into worried. His voice is silent, as if he was sure somebody is near you to hear his words.

    - What do you think, Weaver? It really is one of Circle Archmages? - you almost look around yourself, just as Regreh... damn. This should enough to know your answer.

    - I'm sure of it. I feel same presence as in cell. It was... let's call it him for a while... it is damn flustrating to call someone just... it. - you shakes your head and continue - I was trained to protect my mind from any mindbreaking magic attempts, but that what he did... only reason why I even feel his presence is that he let me to do it. I don't know anyone with that experience on this field and I'm preety sure that I knew a lot of people who know how to make people talk. Damn, I worked with some of them.

    - So you think he was really using our minds to send signals for his people?

    - It is possible. If he would be able to do this other way, he would be free for long time now. I think he was doing that all time. - Dwarf expression changes once more. He is scared. As yourself. You didn't like idea of reading your mind like an open book. You have some secrets that you really want to keep and Masked reputation don't make you feel better... Well, rather lack of that reputation.

Almost every Circle member was kind of famous, that or other way. Zabadon is most opened from all of them - almost everything about him is knowledge that everybody can get. Exluding his secrets, of course. Even Old Man Lysang, despite being a recluse, at least had some reputation and a bit of gossip about his power and age...

But Masked was mystery. Almost nobody saw him, but almost everyone heard about him. For some of people, he is most powerful member of Circle. For other - he is there only for one reason - he helped March, back in time. Other says that he don't exist and Masked figure is just tool for Circle members when they want to do something, but don't want to show their presence. But everything stopped 50 years ago, when Circle send message to every Kingdom. 'One of Circle members, Masked, is missing. Any informations about his presence or last location will be rewarded. Any attempt to lie will be punished.'

Nobody came. After five years, Circle lost all tracks to Masked. If he really disappeard, he didn't wanted to be found. If someone kidnapped him, he was either death or under other Circle member influence. That was only possiblity. Nobody could be powerful enough to dispose of him so easy, without leaving any traces.

And while ago he was sitting next to you, playing with fire. You touch your face and rubs your forehead. Damn it. It could mean many thing - either you fell into trap of someone who captured Archmage. Maybe something other, but you couldn't find any other logical reason for his presence there. Disappearing from Game for 50 years? Not a chance, unless this would be serious matter of status quo or Circle plan. Either way... you are involved into something big now.

Regreh sighs and shakes his head. His voice is angry, but a bit weak.

    - Fucking great. So we now have someone who have knowledge about us, enough to fuck us into Dead Gods know what and we may don't even think about it... How much he can know?

    - I think... eh, I will be honest with you. If he wanted to, he read everything in our minds, without leaving a trace about it. He knew my codename and I fear not only that. So we can't be sure what he know... but it will be safe to say that he know everything. Any ideas what we could do now?

    - About him? Well, suicide? - he chuckles, but it is empty chuckle. - To be honest, I think... we should come back and talk to him. It is only way, to show that we don't want to get involved with anything. - You nods. Regreh have good idea. If he can read in your mind, he know that you can't harm him... he probably could know either way... slowly, you came back to campfire, with Regreh next to you.

Masked looks at you, when you walk toward him. You can't see his face, but you almost can swear that you feel how his eyes look stright into your soul. He looks at you for a while, when Samer and Castor treat Morrow wounds, changing his bandages. It stand up and signals you to walk a bit far away from them. You do as he wish.

    - Well, you want to talk with me, didn't you? - he looks at both of you, waiting for your response. Regreh looks at you and nods.

    - Yes... we wanted to tell you that we don't have anything against you. We just wa... - Masked chuckles as he raise his hands up.

    - Oh, my dear Weaver, my dear Regreh. It is very nice how you think about me... but I know that. - his voice changes into blank, cold as steel... Like void under his hood.

    - Let me say it straight. If any of you could be danger for me, my people or my plans... - he pauses for a moment, as under his hood, light flashes. Blank smile and empty eyes shape appears on it.

    - ... you would be dead where you stand.
    - You shiver and try to not look away, but you just can't. Regreh also shiver, as his face become pale. Masked voice come back to 'normal' tone. - However, don't think about it as a threat or some kind of warning. It is simple... promise. Anyway, yes. I read your minds. And yes, I know what you talked about. I don't need to use spells to know that. It was writen on your faces. I expected a bit... more, from a spymaster, Weaver. But under circumstances... I'm also impressed. Anyway, I will give you your answers later... for now, I suggest you decide what you do next. In five hours, me, Samer and Morrow, will start our journey. I suggest you do same, as I can tell you even now that people will come investigate what happend there. And you may want to be in other place when that happend.

And with those answers, Masked leaves you for now...
    ***

Time to choose what to do next (5 hours of voting time, may get some more. It is small choice, as this isn't update end. You have 5 hours, too, in game. Each thing to do will take some time from your limit)

Five hours left... and what to do?
    a) You will go to Dambarg camp now, to finally talk with him. (Will take around 30 minutes for walking there and back to your camp + time that you will use to talk with him.
    b) You will examine area around crater that was Ravenhord, back in time. (Time to get there - around hour. Back - hour. So 2 hours + time for searching area).
    c) You will search for any survivors from explosion in forests around. Maybe someone could tell you more. (How much time? You decide. But limit is 45 minutes and up)
    d) You will remain in this place.
    e) Freeform.

Um... I kind of want to ask the guy some questions, but now he is gone? :?

Anyway, if we see Masked again, I want to ask him a few things.
    1) Where has he been all that time?
    2) Why has he returned? Why now?
    3) What does he plan to do? Anything we might want to be a part of? These people he was fighting against held us prisoners, too.
    4) Why did he choose us for... whatever he was planning? Why were we singled out?
Let's make some charisma rolls and see if we can loosen his tongue.

Also, how do the rings work? What benefits they provide, for how long we can keep them on without it being detrimental to us, and why would they provide benefits for us if we put them on someone else? I am a bit fuzzy on the mechanics.

By the way, are Regreh or Castor aware of why they were made captives? I know we weren't. Do they have any plans on what to do further?

I think we were on our way to meet the man who promised us information about who sold us out. If he wasn't just a bait to lure us out, perhaps we should resume our search for him.

As for how to use 5 hours... go talk to Dambarg and examine the area of explosion. Maybe there is something of worth left, or at least some evidence of what those people were doing.

I guess it's 1B 2A for the first two questions, too.

First five will be asked in game... so I'm writing next part to it.

    ***

You take a breath and go back to camp. Regreh stay nearby, trying to smoke his pipe... he is probably a bit too nervous now. Masked nods to you, as you sit infront of him, on the other site of campfire.

    - I wanted to ask you about some things... I hope you don't mind.

    - If I will mind, I will let you know, darling. - Masked chuckles.

    - Well, first... where you was for all those years?

    - I was trapped in caves under keep. I make sure that nobody will find me, but it became problematic after I realized that I'm too weak to escape on my own. You see, those caves were one of three with Seeing Crystal in Known World... If you don't know what those crystals are... well. Long story short, they help you move into astral world. - you nods. Astral world is place where ghosts and souls mix and live. Place form where shamans take their power. Dangerous and wild place. - Anyway, I was planing to move into astral for my own reasons, but I think... I can say that I fucked up a bit and I stayed there for 30 years, instead of 30 days. After I woke up, I was already traped under someone influence, not stright on me, but rather on prison itself. I was in kind of problem as I couldn't contact anyone for like 19 next years... until you and your cell-panions came. - Masked laughs at his own pun. You smile a bit too.

    - Anyway, your cells happend to be above mine... close enough to use them as transmitters for my messages. I send it to my soldiers and for a year I was studying their security and magic force, by your minds... I'm sorry that I almost destoryed your, however. I needed strong signal to send my people your location. And this is whole story.

    - It is pretty... long time. - you look at Samer and Caster, still treating Morrow wounds. He wasn't so pale now, but he still looks like man on the other site.

    - Not too long for someone that already lives so long... but it still was... unplesant. Anyway, any more questions?

    - Yes, but I think you already answered my second question now. You returned becouse you had chance too.

    - Correct. - Masked nods - It wasn't part of my plan to stay there for so long. But I'm here again. - grin appears under hood.

    - Yes... hmm. What you will do now?

    - Oh, that is simple. I will come back to Circle, take what left after pieces of my Game and will try to become my old self again. And I'm planing to take care about people that trapped me here for so long time... those are dangerous bastard. I will tell you something, becouse I like you... you wasn't there becouse of who you are, but where you was in time you were captured - near there. And they have enough time to do many things to you, but you are safe... just don't do one thing... - His voice become empty again.

    - Don't let them find you. - he stops and comes back to his 'normal', genderless tone of voice. - You don't want them to find you. And they will try. And no, I can't say anything. I don't know what they planed in your mind, everyone of you. But I know that your are safe unless you meet man who changed something in your minds. You were test subjects, but I didn't wanted to kill you for knowledge... so try to remain low for a while, at least from eyes of people in purple robes... if you meet any, kill them fast. Or deal with them. But I don't think you will ever meet man that was doing those things to you, unless he will want that. And he will have more... problems. So you are pretty much safe.

    - Do you think we can help you get them somehow? - in responce, Masked laughs.

    - I'm sorry, but I have my people to do that. I can't afford anyone else then my own, trusted people in my plans... but, I can offer you informations about them... if this is your wish. - you nods and respond with short.

    - I will think about this, anyway... last question. Why you let us escape with you? You had plans for us? Anything? Or just... it was your good heart? - you grins to him as he tilts his head and respond with same thing.

    - I helped you escape becouse we were on same site. I knew I couldn't afford using you as test subject for some wizard... and I had debt to pay, after all. I used you without your knowledge. And this is how I paid part of my debt... You are here now and you can still wish for two things... Anyway, I'm sorry, but I must take care of Morrow now. He must be ready for fast travel in five hours, after all. - he moves a bit towards Morrow body and Samer. Castor lies on ground, yawning. You see that he is still in shock. And he is tired.

You try to ask Masked for some more time for you, as you want to ask about rings, but he only shakes his head and says 'Not now.' End of talking with him, for now.

    ***

Now, rings - you don't know how they work as you didn't used it. Regreh think those may actually be True Sight rings, empowered (so it means it is much stronger then normal spell.) It let you see invisible targets, hidden runes, anything that normal man couldn't find on first glance. Normal version of that spell is much weaker, but almost every mage use it in some way, either by spells or magic items. Normal TS, however, don't let you see invisible people and don't let you see though most of ilusions like empowered do. Those rings are mostly used by priests reading magical texts, but he never saw one using life energy instead of magical.

You don't know how much you can keep ring on yourself, but you think you will feel when you will reach your limit.

If you put second ring on someone else, that person must be close to you (around one mile from your location). It transfer live energy from one ring to second, however, anyone with magical talent, can feel that energy floating from one ring to another. This is why you rather should use both rings on yourself, it is just more useful that way.

Both Regreh and Castor don't know anything about that. You already talked about this with everyone, even in cells and things just doesn't connect to themselfs, exluding one thing - everyone were near Ravenhord before they were captured. Nothing else connect... unless somebody hide something from you.

Regreh, asked what he want to do now, just shrughs and smiles to you. After a while, he adds something about his debt to you and working together for getting 'those fucking goatfuckers' that locked you down... you think he is gonna stay with you for a long while.

Castor, on other hand, still is shocked, but he says that he don't know yet. He ask you for some time to let him think.

Yep, your way leaded you to Larnmarn and you even know who may send that message, but you aren't sure. He was one of your informers back in time... he also may be one that sold you to people that captured you... or maybe it was just simple accident. Who knows. You still know where you can found him, unless he escaped... year is enough to disappear without trace.

Ok, closing voting for both choices. Update today/tommorow.

    Results:
1 You will ask for informations about people that captured you.
2/3 - You will visit Dambarg right away and later explore crater that left after explosion.

    Chapter 3 II
    Dawn

You sighs and nods to Regreh as both of you start walking again, on your way to Dambarg camp. Your head work like an dwarven clock. Tick, tack. You think about what Masked told you, trying to get any informations hidden behind words. Trying to get everything that you can get from it. It is how your mind works.

    - Girl, I have an question... do you think we can trust this... Masked?

    - Trust? - you laughs. - Trusting archmage is like giving chest full of gold to random person of street. And asking for don't touching it for one year. So, beyond stupid. No, never. And unless we will found a way to kill him or anything else, we can forget about it. And if we ever will even be on trace of that, we will be dead before we ever move. - you shake your head. - Anyway, we can't do anything about it. We are damn lucky that we are still alive. You heard him. - Regreh nods.

    - So... now we are free. I worry about your... hunger problem. - you look at him, suprised. Your eyes turn away after a while. How could you forget about it... But year without it gave you peace. For short time. - I always wanted to ask you about it... you told me that you must suck up two people... to live two weeks. Tell me. How many years you live now?

Your voice is heavy. You almost never talk about it, but Regreh is kind of friend... maybe he deserve to know. You sighs and let words fly.

    - Almost two and half... well. Above that. Two ages, Regreh. I don't add my old live to it. I'm not that person that died after March. But yes. I 'live' 250 years now. - Regreh looks at your face again, but you don't see anything in his eyes.

    - And each week you killed two people to live?

    - No! I mean, sometimes, yes. But I can also suck people without harming them. And this is what I prefer to do. But, yes. I sucked up countless people. Dry. Some of them deserved that. I don't want to talk about it, please.

    - I'm sorry. I shouldn't ask about things like that. - dwarf smiles to you, a bit ashamed. - It isn't your fault, after all.

    - You deserve to know. You are only thing that I can call friend for now around there. Only person that I really talked to for whole year. Thanks, by the way... Regreh. I must ask you about something. Why you want to go with me? You told me that you have family. You can come back to them. You have place where you could come back. - Regreh expression darken and he shakes his head.

    - I can't come back there... believe me. I have my reasons, but I can't come back to my family. Not now. And I must deal with those that captured us... I mean, WE must deal with them. I don't want them to follow me to my family either... you also have someone that seeks you, after all.

You gasps as you realize that Masked know now. And maybe people that captured you... only person that still want to found you. Hiri.

    - No, no, no... Damn it! That bastard! So this is why he don't see us as fucking danger... he knows about our secrets now, but he also know how to use it angist us... this is why he don't include us in our plans. We will be his pawns if he will only tell us our family names. This is enough. Or can always use us as baits to those bastards... damn it. Always trapped, always played as pawns... Damn Circle. - you hit kick nearby tree. Regreh become pale and shakes his head. - I must calm down... This is why I never fuck into mages business. This is reason why I don't work for Circle... Damn them and their Game. Eh, nothing we can do about that, I quess... I must meet with my contacts... ask them about Hiri. About many things.

    - I understand... so I think you have plan?

    - Plan? No, sadly. I know that my nearby contacts are in Larnmarn... many things can be solved in that city, for us. I think there we should go. Not so far from there, perfect for start, we can get informations there. But we can always move somewhere else. To don't be so... predictable. - you thinks about it, but after a while, you finally come to Dambarg camp.

Dambarg sits, leaning on tree. Silvana is sitting on the other site of campfire... her leg is bandaged. Both of them looks at you. Dam smiles, but she turns her face in other direction.

    - Ah, Weaver! Good to see you! - he stands up and grab your hand, pulling you into his... hug. You look at him, suprised, before he takes a few steps back. He laughs and shakes his head. - Please, don't feel offended. I'm just old man that like to show his feeling toward people. You saved my live, I owe you something, comrade. Please, sit and feel free to drink a bit! - he points at flask near fire. - Water, don't worry. I don't have any booze, sadly.

    - Sorry, Dambarg, but we don't have much time. We must talk with both of you about something. - Dambarg expression changes when he looks at you. He seems to be a bit... crestfallen by your unexpected reaction.

    - Yes?

    - This hooded creature... well. I will say it straight. It is Masked. Yes, THAT Masked. He was traped under us. And he readed our minds. - old man face changes into human question mark. For a while he is silent and after a while only thing he is able to say is 'What?!'.

    - Exacly this, my friend. He told us things that only us could told. It really seems to be Circle Archmage and he know EVERYTHING that we knew. We are in kind of problem, I think.

    - WHAT?! A PROBLEM? YOU STUPID DWARF SHIT! - 'voice of Silvana is nice as always', you think, smirking. - We are so, damn, fucked... What he want to do? Kill us?

    - If he would want us dead, we would be already dead. - it is a bit of suprising that everyone assume Masked is man... but it isn't time for that. - Probably many times now. I don't think he want to do anything with us, for now. He only told us to move out from there in... four hours now. A bit more. I wanted to ask you... both, I think... Will you move with us? We have a plan to make those bastards that captured us pay. Or at least make them cry a little. - you decided to don't tell Dambarg everything yet. At least for now. You don't like Silvana enough to make sure that the less she knows, safer your plans are. - I mean, we plan to move to Larnmarn for some informations, food and other supplies.

Dambarg looks at you and then on Silvana. His gaze is uncertain, almost like he is thinking about something. After a while, he shakes his head.

    - I'm sorry, girl... but I can't do it. Not now. I must get her to safe place, for her own sake. I owe you my live and I will pay that debt, I swear. But not today. Not there.

    - Larnmarn is safe place.

    - Not for her, sadly. She was escaping from it. I can't take her there. She have problems with someone powerful to found us almost everywhere around.

    - 'Us'? I though you didn't know her, Dambarg. At least, it seems so... - you look at him as he realizes he made a mistake.

    - I don't know her good enough, but I know I must do it. I will tell you when we will meet again, Weaver. Not if, when. - he smiles. - I'm sorry, but after what you told me, I think it is time to change our plans. We will move, now. Thanks, for everything. Again.

    ***

Regreh and you look at each other and shrugs. You say goodbye to both of them and came back to camp of Masked. Not much changed.

Exluding damn group of soliders in purple uniforms aiming at Masked, Samer, Morrow and Castor with crossbows (and one with magic spell, fireball, probably). You hide behind trees before they could see you. How many of them are around? Hard to say... visible - 6 people. Including mage. You hear conversation.

    - You, damn monster! You killed our brothers... gave up or we will make you hedgehog, along with your friends. - Masked don't respond, looking at Samer. And you can't belive what you hear.

    - Sam... can you take care of them. I'm a bit tired. - voice this time is a bit... too sweet for your taste. For a moment, you think that Masked may be a women, with all his 'my dears'... but it rather doesn't matter to you. That what matter is some fact - Samer sighs and takes his axe, stand up and slowly moves towards soldiers. They aim at him.

    - Run away now and you will live. - gigant voice is full of... apathy. Soldiers nevrous laugh is only responce. Samer don't stop moving. Until one of them shoots.

Samer body stops and after a second, hit ground with loud 'thud'. In his forehead, he have now hole, with bolt inside of it. You look at Regreh and later at group...

You feel Castor panic even there. Morrow seems to be rather still in place between land of dead and living as is Madman.

Masked is not amused. His hood don't move as he looks at soldiers, slowly moving towards campire, ignoring body of poor Samer. One of them steps on his hand.

And that was first mistake he made.

Second mistake was scream after he looked at Samer face, where bolt was slowly... drowning... into his forehead, getting everyone attention.

His last mistake was not escaping after he realized that his leg is trapped in black goo, where Samer hand was once. Bolt appeared on surface of slowly dissolving body and second later same bolt was lauched with great force, right into guard forehead, killing him instantly.

Under Masked hood, gigant grin appeared. And dance of death started. Black goo, moving almost as fast as Masked himself, trapped two of guards inside itself. You heard breaking bones and screams of guards, before their heads disappeared under goo surface. Wizard finally decided to use his fireball, and hit goo directly. It slowly fell on the ground, almost like slowly dissolving again, but this time not only it fell on the ground, but also two broken, twisted bodies. Goo moved again, trapping another guard. He stuggled when his head disappared under ooze, but after a second you heard only loud 'CRACK' and his body fell on ground.

Last guard had something in his head and started to run, but in meantime wizard prepared another spell to use. This time, ice appared in his hands... only to explode in his face, cutting it like sharpnels. You heard giggle and shivered... damn it. Masked work.

Goo however, was faster then guard. He fell on the ground, disappearing under surface like people before. However, this time goo slowly moved next to Masked, as he get on his legs and shaking his head came near bodies of guard comrades. Face of poor man appeared on surface as he was taking heavy breaths... only to see Masked in his whole glory.

    - No, I beg you, I don't want to die, I have family. I have wife, kids, please. I b-be-g you, sire, d-on't kill m-eee... - litany of begs for mercy was almost endless, until Masked place finger on man mouths. Either he paralyzed him or it was fear as he was almost like mute now.

    - You see, my dear man. Everyone have families or at least had. Nobody borns just like that, in darkness. At least not mortals, my friend. You fough with my men and lost. It is like this... on this world it is either kill, serve, live like nobody or be killed. You tried to do second thing, you serve someone. And to continue it, you was forced to do first thing. But you met someone that could vaporize you in seconds. And, this is our problem. And I'm sorry, but I must solve it. I can't let you just go, you see. You could tell someone about me. Or something even more stupid. You could be interesting source of informations. You could become agent of someone. Or you could just come back to your wife and kids, if you have one. Who knows... But I can't be sure. I may read your mind, but who knows what is a lie? Maybe I don't have time for it. Maybe I don't want to do it. - Masked signals something to ooze and it lift man up, making him stand, still trapped inside of itself.

    - Problem with people like you is that you think that... you may do everything. You don't know when your life will end. You live without thinking about what will happend tomorrow. You lack imagination, ability to plan your live. You are prisoner of fate. And you know what...?

    - I'm your fate today. And your fate is to... look at my face. Don't worry. It is only it... my friend. - Masked smiles as he touches his hood. Ooze moves quickly behind him. You see only his back now. Guard look fascinated under hood... until green light flashes.

Screams fill forest for long, long time. You don't know for how much time, but it could be minutes, hours or even days. Time is something that you don't undertand, in that very moment. Face of guard disappears in green, unhealthy light.

After few seconds... or hours... it ends. Man slowly fell, first on his knees and later on the ground. You shiver as you see his face, twisted by fear. But thing that make you shiver even more, are his eyes.

White, like pure snow. You know when this happends.

    Masked devoured that man soul...

    ***
You slowly walk toward camp, looking at Caster, paralyed by fear. Masked and... ooze, that once was Samer still stay in same place. Archmage seems to be whispering something, as goo moves. Slowly, it come back to form resembling human sharpe. And then it transforms again, into Samer. Without hole in his head. They turn to you after a while of talk.

    - I assume you had fun watching this little... show? - Masked giggles under his hood. - I don't blame that you didn't act, after all, Samer had everything under his control. I think I didn't introduce you to each other. Well, Samer this is Weaver, spymaster of House of Servants, now jobless. Weaver, this is Samer, Ageless of Archmage Masked, it's right hand and probably only shapeshifter with power to turn into... that thing you saw.

You nods to Samer and he responces with same thing. He smiles to you as he turns to Morrow and walks towards him. After that, he sits where he sat before. Masked also looked at Morrow, but turns back to you.

    - Well, I think you are free again. Go do what you must do. I want to meet you before we will start our journey. I have something to tell you... and yes, I know what you want to ask about. But first, go do what you want to do. - he turns your back on you and sits next to Morrow again. You suddenly feel how your ribs hurt and you gasps. Regreh jumps next to you and try to not let you fall on your knees. - Oh! - Masked voice distrubs slience once more. - I must use my magic to help my poor soldier now. I'm sorry. You should be fine with those ribs. They are mostly whole again. Aaaand... if you want to explore what left after Ravenhord, it is on your left now. One hour will be enough to get there even with your ribs, I think. Good luck!

You slowly move with Regreh towards ruins... you mutters something to yourself, to break silence for first 200 septs of your road. Finally, after a while, Regreh speaks.

    - I think we are far enough now... what the hells was that?!

    - That was, my dear dwarf, one of Circle Ageless. People that are Circle agents in theory, but they are under orders of their member of Circle. They are right hands and preety much responce for only their master. Best agents. I think we really just met one of them and I really don't like idea of that. Masked was enough to kill us, now we know about his right hand. Fuck this, if we will die tonight, we at least will have some peace.

    - I didn't mean only that guy... I mean... what Masked had done to that man? Not poor man, he was enemy... but his screams... Gods in Mountains, save us from dark. - he shakes his head.

    - I... - you fight with yourself as you don't want to scare Regreh, but it seems that he again, deserves to know. - He devoured his soul, Reg. I saw this once and I know how it looks like. I don't know how and why, but I don't want to know that. Don't talk, don't think about it. Forget it, for your own sake. - Regreh sighs, but nods.

You walk, trying to not think about what happend... but it is too hard.

    ***

It was long time until you came to that what was supposed to be Ravenhord. Now large crater in the middle of nowhere, preety deep. You looked around and kneel. Stealth way was safest around there. You ribs almost don't hurt now. Darkness surrounds you and you feel whole again. This is your way. Shadows.

Regreh tries to be silent, in his own dwarf way... well. You can't ask for everything, don't you? Anway, only thing you see at first glance are rock everywhere around you and broken bodies... you know check some of them, trying to find anyone alive. But nobody seems to have so much luck as you do.

You know that it would be bad idea to climb down crater... light from there still suggest threat from heat and fire down there. You also know that nothing could live down there. Exluding Masked, probably. But he is special case.

You stop, suddenly. Bunch of figures move in dark, patroling around something. You stop Regreh and decide to take a closer look, alone. Slowly moving between rocks and trees, you stand next to one of guards, and try to cut his throat.

Only to see how guard fell, along with others after you touch him. Like puppets.

A fast glance confirms your theory - they were already dead... someone animated them to move like living people... you shiver and call Regreh, with gesture. You still want to take a look at place that those things guarded. 'Nobody left animated bodies just for shit and giggles' - you think. Slowly aproaching smaller crater, you see body inside of it. Three deep wounds on it's chest are only things that you didn't saw before on this man.

Blue Eyes. He seems to be dead for a while now... but not so long. His blood is still warm. As is message left on his hands, written with his own blood.

    Silver Towers. - on right...

Alargon failed. - on left. You look at Regreh.

    - He didn't died long ago... at least not from explosion. Something attacked, wounded and left him there... and probably set up those animated decoys to fool people... but who?

    - Masked? - Regreh looks around, disturbed by his idea. But you shakes your head.

    - I don't think so. He didn't had reason to play with bodies like that. He could just make body disappear or something. Maybe burn it. I think it was someone in hurry... or wounded himself. It isn't far away for ledge of crater there. Someone that finished him could just throw Eyes down there and that would finish everything. Weird... I don't like this and this night is weird enough right now... I don't think we may do anything else then remember those messages... but I don't like them.

    - Why? - Regreh looks at you, suprised.

    - Becouse I know what Silver Towers are... sect, South Kingdoms. One of those mad bastards that thinks Dead Gods are still alive. One of those that was probably behind assasination of your own prince. - Regreh face become red, when you mention murder of his kin royal blood.

    - Cruses! Damn those bazarks. Davarg murkot gluprh! Zabrak! Moragh mayr rrazden flaghir! - he releases another litany of curses from himself and for your own sake you try to not translate those...

    - But Alargon... What is it? Or who? Why it failed? I have no idea.

    - Me either... I hope this bastard wasn't part of their sect. If he was, he is lucky that I didn't find him alive. Anyway... let's come back... we don't have much time now.

    - At least two hours, but way back will take another hour... well. Rest in peace. - you look at dead elf and nods. Maybe if you walk there before... he could still tell you something. Now, his secrets will be with him.

    Forever.

    ***

You came to Masked camp again. Nothing changed, exluding Castor sitting far away from Masked and his little group. When he see you, he rushes to you, almost jumping in your hands.

    - I was worried about both of y-you! - you for second time see Castor lost his temper. But for that he saw today, it was enough for you to justify his reactions. - I will... I will come with you. Wherever you will want to... just don't left me there with - he lowers his voice - them...

    - Don't worry. You can come with us, boy. - Regreh pats his... hand and smiles to him. Anyway, you slowly walk towards Masked, to finally get your answers. But before you even speak, his voice strucks your ears.

    - I know what you want to ask about. I will give you what you want, if this is your first wish. We have a deal?

    - Yes. - he turns his hood on you and grin appear under it.

    - Splendid! So, first... I must tell you that I don't have almost anything to say. - You almost speak but his voice is faster again. - But I mean, NOW. I will send you everything that I will found on my way to those people... And don't worry how I will found you. I will. - he giggles. - Anyway, I have word or two about that man who experimented on your minds. They call him 'He, who borned twice'... or just Reborn. He is powerful wizard that is fascinated with minds and he was supposed to be dead for long time... it seems that he isn't. He wear purple robes and white mask. If you will ever smell roses mixed with perfumes, run. It is like his... well. It is hard to say why he is doing smells like these. Probably becouse his is mad. Very mad. More mad then I'm. So yes, it says something. Anyway, last thing... he likes to sing his spells. But can also whisper them. He uses vocal magic, probably. I suggest you cover your ears. This may be your last chance.

You look at Masked, remembering every information he gave you... and after a while, you speak.

    - Can I tell something, now?

    - Yes! You can! - Masked laughs and shakes his head.

    - How much time we have now? Why we should move form there? How many days we will walk from there to Larnmarn?

    - Well, less then hour now. Becouse I called other Circle member to take care about what happend there and he may be... a bit... violent if he find you there. But I trust him. And... last question... you know, I will give you other answer. Three miles, south-east. Be quick and you may find something interesting there. Anyway, I think it is time to say goodbye... - Samer take both Madman and Morrow on his shoulders. He grins to you and nods. - Oh, and don't worry about this poor creature. I will take care of him... anyway... it was nice to meet you. - his voice become empty again, as before.

    - I also hope that we don't meet anytime soon, rude girl. - you shiver when he laughs and walks next to you. - Good luck, to all of you! Oh and don't mind that, Weaver!

And with those words, Masked and his Ageless disappear behind trees. You look at Castor, when he sighs with relief. And at Regreh, leaning on his axe.

    - So... we move where he told us, now?

    - I suppose so... I hope this isn't any joke from him... I don't like archmage jokes. - you mutter and start walking in direction pointed by Masked.

Castor finally speaks, after a while. - You really though about that you don't want to see him again? - you look at him, suprised. And laughs.

    - Yes, Castor. Believe me. This really is my though. Pure and from my heart. - even Castor, with his stress, laughs with you.

After twenty minutes, you finally reach your goal... small camp. With three horses, packages full of food and other supplies. You look at it, suprised.

    - I don't believe it... he really pointed us camp with horses... something useful... bastard. I think this camp is what left after his soldiers that died in Ravenhord...

    - Well... I think we have horses now. - Regreh smiles. - Maybe he isn't that bad...

    - I don't think so, sir Regreh. - Castor scratches his head. - But I think we may need those... we don't have much time. I think i even see road from there.

You took some time to get as many things as you need from camp, including map and some gold. After a while, you was ready to go...

    But where?

    ***
    Vote now...

    1. World is finally open for you... where you will go? Where you will go to reach your goals, Weaver?
    a) Larnmarn, city of Wonders and Thieves. It is close to you, it is place where everybody ways on some way could connect... you may found everyhing you need here... but it is worth it to come to town there everybody could sold your live for few gold coins?
    b) You will go to Dwarven Kingdom, as Regreh now suggest. He have few friends there and they may help you gather some force before you will start your plans.
    c) You will go on long journey to Dragon Empire, place where you have some mages friends. Some of them still owe you after you told them about Night of Falling Stars... and you have new debts there... if wizards from Ravenhord make it alive.
    d) You will go gather informations from your old agents, all around Known World. Closest one lives on lands of Count Zabadon (7 on map, not so long road from where you are, but still much longer then way to Larnmarn). Maybe even you will found Hiri and finally connect your ways again?
    e) Freeform.

    2. Your way will be dangerous, probably. How you will travel?
    a) By roads, not so safe, but fastest.
    b) By wildeness, forests. It will be a bit safer but much slower.
    c) Freeform.

Long update, but I hope you like it! Like always, ask questions for me or characters and I will answer!

    A) Larnmarn, obviously. It is easy to get lost in a huge city, and we have 200 years of experience of mingling with humans. Besides, we still have our mission to take care of. It's not like this year-long detour changes anything. :M

    A) Roads. We have horses and we are pretty dangerous ourselves. We will outrun what we can't kill.

I don't see why it would be more dangerous for us to travel than it was a year ago when we were first captured. But now we also aren't alone anymore.

Well, I think it may be that there is someone out there that may be a bit pissed about that his keep/prison is crater now and you escaped. But who knows. But there is also possibility to get the fuck out of there fast enough to make everyone lost your trace. Both ways have pros and cons.

We dont have anyone that can cover our tracks in the wilderness so i dont think it is worth it. The faster we get to the big city and disappear, the better.

Hello, everyone! Maybe you expected another update, but this isn't it this time.

However, I have important question for all of you. I'm aware of my terrible grammar. This is one of reasons behind my question. I write this CYOA for you, after all.

Do you want to continue this? I can't judge my own setting, but I believe it is interesting. I know that I must work on my grammar anyway, but do you still want to play? I can say that I will be happy to read any of your ideas.

Well, we barely started. It is interesting to see where that would bring us.

None so far. Having not seen the game world up close yet, or any major consequences to us picking a soulless, I am sticking to the 'easy' choices. Larnmarn is in a way the same to me as a Dwarven Kingdom until they grab torches and pitchforks and chase us out - and we have a plot hook for the former, too.

I have no idea what to do with the character just yet, so I am leaving it for her in-built motivation to carry the plot forward.

Funny that you mentioned it, Nev, as I'm doing something to work on that. You see, our dear Weaver/Rega van Lier'ze (yep, it is her canon real name. You don't use it, but some characters can, so I wanted to mention it anyway. Who know her real name? Not that I can really say as some of them may be already dead, but I can confirm that some knew her by that name) have her background inside of setting, as it would be bit too... weird for me to don't have any excluding that short description about her father and origin. She live above 250 years now and she had done some important things to our story. (including her 'old' live, but she says that she isn't that person anymore and in some way, it is true. Real soul of Rega is somewhere in Void, along with thousands other dead people from March. That what is in place of her soul is created from leftovers and infused by power of her mind and body and it was so far confirmed in gameworld by wizard and other people researching that thing)

So far in Myth, if I remember it correctly, we don't know too much about our female Indiana (God, how much I love Fangshi characters) excluding some facts. Well, Known World may be a bit different in that matter. Weaver saw some shit in her live, lived out three generations of her friends and her family and must deal with own problems. And she hasf some of it as you know. She still has some bad memories with some souless hunger things as she was forced to feed on someone who didn't deserved to die (she was at edge of sanity of that moment, however, and couldn't control it), at least in her own eyes. But you will read about it in interlude that I work on.

She also was commander of three generations of House of Servants. She was on many of missions herself. But, sadly, writing all her live story would be:
    a) Too long for me.
    b) Way to hard for me, as I'm pretty much... inexperienced on field of writing any story and Known World is my first attempt ever (at least in english)
    c) It would be a bit of pointless as me and you probably couldn't remember everything and this... well. It could create mistakes and misunderstandings.

Those three are my main reasons to choose similiar thing as Fangshi used in Myth - you will get some facts from her live when she will tell it to our both companions. (not everything, as he don't trust Castor so much, but that what she isn't going to say, she may think about it as well) And by that I mean pretty general backstory of her live, without much details so you could know thing or two. Some other facts will come with knowledge from other characters... if you will meet them, of course. Rest of her live may stay in darkness. But who knows.

Anyway, when I already wrote about how backstory of your character work in KW, let's talk a bit about storytelling and story itself. Well, first thing - I have a problem with tenses, as everybody with even basic knowledge of english grammar can see. My problem is that I don't exactly know which tenses I should use in story and I'm working on it right now, so now updates may be slower, but they will be better written now. (I hope so...) Second thing - your choices may create story. Well, yes, I use some premade events that may or may not happend in gameworld, depending on your choices, but it is mostly written by you and your luck (rolls). Some example, without spoilers - if you would choose escaping with Masked in first chapter, he would act different towards you now. It was possible for you to get first to Blue Eyes and save him if you would choose different route back then. Damn, even your questions may change/add/close some choices, as it happend with Masked (you impressed him a bit with those questions, or rather by that you had big enough 'balls' to ask them after you learned who he may be).

What about characters? Well, it really depends on their personality and their feelings towards you. Regreh is kind of your companion that I included as support for you on start. He, of course, have his own plots and backstories, but you may think as him as an... fulfillment of your party. But as you saw in Dambarg example, they have their own buisness. Don't be suprised when someone will left you without word if you do something against their own moral compass... or even more. But if you will read between their actions, you will know if you are close to that... at least for most of them. So yeah, think about them as not only your tools... unless you know how to use them like that. ;)

Ending... well. I know what you think - "YOU ALREADY THINK ABOUT ENDING AND YOU DON'T EVEN STARTED, YOU STUPID FUCK" - well, sorry, sorry! I only wanted to say when game will end! So... there are three ways. First one is simplest - you die. This however, don't mean that game will end, as you will have chance to take any of your characters in part and make them main character... with their pros and cons. Or you can just choose to finish it, then you will get epilogue. Second - finish certain premade plots. This will trigger endings... what will happend next? Well, now you can go on first page and look at my first post. See this thing? Act I? Yep. This will trigger act II. However, I can't say more. You are faaaaar from that point and I don't think you will get to it anytime soon. Oh. And option number three - secret. But don't count on it.:smug:

About what I can say more? Hmm, well... you will get to larger plot now and you may think of it as second part of prologue. So this still mean that your character can't die (at least not by other means then preplaned death), but your companions - can. And your character still can get into cirt so I suggest to be subtle with your plans.

Ohohoh, I almost forget. Believe me, picking souless will have it's consequences. But remember that I warned you that it is FUCKUS MAXIMUS choice. However, don't expect hate from everyone or anything like that, just becouse you are souless. But some people may be a bit cold to you if you will show them your true nature. I suggest getting some dwarf contact lenses to hide your eyes. Free tip.

Well, that is everything for now, I think.

I don't know if you mean Myth or KW there, Nev. :) If you mean KW - I don't know why you think Weaver was kicked out Dwarven Kingdom, but prehaps that is one of my mistakes. (or I forget something, but then I'm retarded and you need to shoot me in face for my stupid memory). Dwarfes are actually one of few people that don't think of souless people as someone much different then normal human. Well, maybe becouse sucking dwarf is like bitting cactus to get some water from it (at least for souless, I remember that I wrote about it back in some Index posts), but I don't think it was it.

That's what I'd like to do.

There has not been a lot of completely freeform adventures on these boards. Myth was really unique in that it didn't follow a set narrative, and could be pretty much about anything the players would choose. So I want to play it a bit like we did there. We had a very strong initial motivation that drove us forward and gave us all the reasons we need to see it to the end, and by the end of it we have acquired 15 more plothooks as well as a sense of where we stand in the world, and went from there.

No doubt, but we haven't seen those. We don't really know what to watch out for and how to best do it. We don't know if packed cities are good or bad for someone with our condition. We know our character did it before, but we as players hav no experience handling this yet.

No, I don't think that. I meant they are both locations we know nothing about yet (safe for bits of lore), and I have no reason to favor one over the other. So I am going for something that is close by and, being populated with humans, is easier to understand.

I also meant that Larnmarn would be more likely to grab the torches, and that's the risk I accept - and even want to take - since our character is a spymaster and thus should in theory be safe, if only because she is less likely to do something :retarded:.
