In the beginning of March, Medi-Kit was being researched in East Coast laboratories by 60 scientists and Alien Alloys were being researched by 80 scientists in West Coast laboratories.

On 3rd March, a 10th UFO was detected over Europe but it escaped the radar range before Interceptor caught up with it.

Later on the same day a large UFO was detected over Europe. Interceptors scrambled from West Europe and Israel to intercept it.

The UFO was caught when it slowed down and turned towards Sofia. It is speculated that the UFO was supposed to commit a terrorist attack on the city.
It was damaged by Avalanche missiles fired by an Interceptor from Israel and crash-landed.

Soon after shooting down the suspected Terror Ship, contact was regained with UFO 10 over USA. It was intercepted by Interceptor 1, Flight 1 and damaged with two Stingray missiles. It crash-landed.

Skyranger 1 has landed near it to recover it. After landing it turned out that the UFO was completely obliterated by engine explosion. The mission was aborted.

On the next day, Skyranger 1 was sent out to recover UFO 11.

Initial deployment. An alien terrorist creature was spotted, confirming that UFO-11 is a Terror Ship.

Floating alien humanoid was seen. The UFO seems to be damaged but salvageable.

First casualty. A soldier was seriously wounded by a badly thrown grenade.

Situation a minute into the mission. Large burned out area near Skyranger is a result of a bad miss with a thermobaric rocket. Luckily no one was seriously injured.

Situation about two minutes into the mission. All aliens outside seem to be dead, X-Com operatives are moving towards the craft.

About 3 minutes into the mission. X-Com soldiers besiege the UFO. Doors are mined with proximity grenades. Few operatives watch the roof in case a flying alien emerges.

Soldier seriously wounded in the beginning of the mission dies.

3,5 minutes into the mission an alien terrorist creature emerges and detonates the proximity grenade. X-Com soldiers assault the craft through that door.

The alien is killed with a grenade. A moment later two floating humanoids try to escape through the roof but are shot down by the tank.

Next UFO was detected on 06 March. It was a Small Scout. It was shot down by an Interceptor from West Europe.

Another tiny UFO was detected and destroyed over China on 10th March.
