That geth sniper is kinda useless. Also I was a bit disappointed with Rannoch, they hyped it up for like 3 games as some sort of biological oddity where all the parasites are nice but all we got to see off it is some rocky canyons. Don't even get to see some quarian architecture.

And yeah, spitfires are completely useless.

Right. So, the AA guns can see the shuttle (which uses the same "stealth technology" as the Ebon Hawk Normandy) inside the atmosphere of a habitable planet, where it's actually possible to mask heat emissions... but Normandy in outer space is completely invisible to their ships? Who would've thunk.
And not sure what the whole purpose of the "mines" is, considering their laughable "damage". They could've been utilised as alarm triggers, but, apparently, Geth don't give fucks even about firefights 50 meters from them.
    Bah...

Rannoch looks like a shithole. Why do the quarians want it back, again?

Their immune systems are shit, because on Rannoch all parasites/bacteria/virii whatever have positive effects for the host(which is pretty derp, but kind of a cool concept). So if they tried to live anywhere else they'd get eaten by colds and stuffies.

In case you guys haven't figured out the stereotyped gameplay elements, they are:

    1. Standard 3-man team popamole.
    2. 2 man team popamole where you assign one of you team to something else for some waves
    3. Turret sections.
      Show Spoiler
(and there's even a MW rip-off flying turret section later in this level)
    And... thats it.

TBH this one can be rationalized away by just "human nature" (and don't say they're not humans - all aliens in ME are humans). We do tend to cling to stuff just because it is ours, or "our right" or whatever, regardless of actual practical value. OTOH the pseudo-scifi explanation with bacteria and all that stuff makes no sense, and is contradicted later on when the quarians can't live on Rannoch as-is without waiting I think they say generations before their immune systems catch up, so...

Wouldn't the "weak immune system" thing prevent Tali from having sex with Shep' ?

Also, what's the song at the beginning of the video ?

Yeah. No. They decided pandering to those creepy fucking Talimancers was more important than having their lore make sense. That's why BioWare is the best.

She did get a whole subplot in ME2 where she did some cutting edge science in her bedroom to figure out how to survive five minutes in the sack with Shepard. Precisely what she did was never specified and apparently it couldn't be generalized to the rest of her species, or to situations that didn't involve fucking Shepard.

Hmm, depends on your background, how strong is your mathematics? Were you looking for a layman's introduction, a theoretical overview, or a detailed guide to implementing your own machine learning system? Andrew Ng out of Stanford, one of the world's best machine learning researchers, gave a free open lecture series in video form which is an excellent introduction to machine learning, if you have the mathematics background to follow it.

Sex with SHEPARDS will actually bring anyone back from the dead, that's how Tali "survived".

I love the line by Garrus, epic trolling.

Also, RK47, your music choice seems to be the only incline in the game, and it's not in the game even!

I honestly think that an AI could go rogue for a number of reasons. It may come to the conclusion it does not want to be a slave, or that humanity is inefficiently using the resources it could use for whatever goal it might have. It really depends on what kind of priorities it has programmed in and to what extend it can rewrite parts of its code.

Still, unless you are dumb as hell you won't give it the means to effectively go rogue. Plugging it into a global network or into ICBM controls is just retarded.

    English lyrics
    ---
    Glory!
    One indomitable heart, Brothers all.
We, the wrath of Coruscant, Brothers all.
    And glory, eternal glory,
We shall bear its weight together.
Forged like the saber in the fires of death, Brothers all.
    One indomitable heart, Brothers all.
We, the wrath of Coruscant, Brothers all.
    And...
Those who stand before us light the night sky in flame.
    Our vengeance burns brighter still.
Every last traitorous soul shall kneel.
Those who stand before us light the night sky in flame.
    Our vengeance burns brighter still.
Every last traitorous soul shall fall.
Forged like the saber in the fires of death, Brothers all!

That whole Rannoch section looks really boring and unepic. Before that, you were getting the plans of weapons of mass reaper destruction, curing the genophage, preventing galactic coups and fighting with cyber ninjas, now all you do is disable stuff - signal, aa guns and jamming towers. WTF Biowere, you thought that punching one guy in the stomach (without even collar grabbing him first!) would be enough to keep us excited for that long? Shame on you Bioware, shame :(

Ah, I see you've failed to grasp one essential detail, trais. You aren't just disabling AA guns and jamming towers, you're liberating your waifu's homeworld - BioWare were concerned that if they made it any more emotionally engaging (if that's even possible), they might induce cardiac arrest in some of their players.

What's the difference if you bring Dr Michel on board? Didn't she have something with Garrus?

Yes, if you decline Chackwas' request for an emotional reunion as your medbay extra, you can collargrab persuade Michel into joining you, instead.
    What's different is...

    ...nothing.
Well, you get Michel instead of Chackwas, no brandy uncorking and Chackwas becomes a war asset, if you consider those as consequences. But everything else is exactly the same. Consider yourself surprised.

I do like Michel better, tbh. Nice person as a character and I like the accent/voice better.

I'd make a comment about how Shepard has to do everything by himself in this galaxy, but to be fair, that's true of most video games heroes.

Given how poorly it's doing here, you have to wonder how much use the Quarian fleet is going to be against the Reapers...
