Nevill Codexer... the first one to lay down his life for Codexia. Master of "handel abschließen", an honorary German and a Rogue with woefully underutilized seduction skills. He negotiated better prices for the party during his life, yet blew all of he party's funds on knife-throwing in his pursuit of german titles, at which he kept failing. Due to his gambling problem, he was not very popular among his party members, who didn't seems to care about him falling in combat and would rather talk to Artherion then to try to revive him, leading to his unfortunate demise. Still, he died for Codexia! :salute:

MicoSelva Rainbow Child, our first elf. He led us through the first part of the game, all the way to the Dwarven Pit. He single-handedly saved his team by retreating from the first battle with those demonic undead dwarves and then returned to nurse everyone back to health. A good pathfinder, healer and food provider, MicoSelva was a valuable member of the team. It was a tragic day when we lost him to the undead dwarves from hell...

ERFKRAD Codexer, Nevill's older and much more popular older brother. He kept failing at "handel abschließen", no doubt due to his dead brother's malicious influence, but he kept kicking ass in combat, so all is forgiven! Still, even all of his fighting skills didn't save him from the undead dwarves from hell.

Ah, the original Reinhardt. Who knew there were many more to come! This particular version was an emo druid, focused on writting sad poetry and summoning ghosts to tank, also he was the designated herb gatherer. Already weakened by the undead dwarves from hell, Reinhardt v1.0 died after he choked on all the smoke when we set some strange plant on fire while in the Dwarven Pit.

Morkar the Red, my MVP for the first part of the game. His Ignifaxius oneshot a many foe and his other spells helped the group a lot. The other magicians that came after him might have been better, but he was the first and they had much to learn from his example. Like Rainhardt v1.0, he choked on the smoke from that fire inside the Dwarven Pit. He almost made it out of the room too, but the gods were not kind to him that day.

:( Reinhardt the Jolly, AKA Reinhardt v2.0, you were too good for this cruel world. You brought cheer to people and gold to the party's pockets, you were much better at throwing knives then Nevill ever was and the Hiyalan Fire throwing weapon had potential, even if "his head was in wrong place". Sadly, he did not live long enough to test it more then a couple of times, as after he was wounded in battle with Orc Archers, he became the first victim of Azira's poor medical skills.

Jimmious, son of Gimli, the other victim of Azira's poor medical skills and the last of the original party to die, with Boreale being the sole survivor. Jimmious lived a fulfilling life full of excitement, lockpicking and teleporting cart rides. In short, he was a better rogue then then actual rogue and probably my favorite character out of the original six, he could easily rival Boreale in kicking ass and taking names with his axe. He died once already when the party lowered him into a shaft and refused to pull him back up until he found something and he just failed to hold on to the rope. Yet he was saved by a reload due to the fact that he was carying the Salamander Stone in his pocket. He finally died for good after the first disastrous swamp expedition, when Azira decided to run some horrible Ice Elf experiments on him instead of actually healing him and thus, he succumbed to a combination of swamp fever and battlefield fever. I was hoping that he would make it all the way to the end, but sadly, it was not to be.

AZIRA! :argh: The insane female/male ice elf suffering from identity crisis, her Treat Wounds and Disease attempts mostly involve traditional ice elven medicine, like trepanation and leaving the sick alone in the woods to feed the wolves. S/he is also a known burglar, who spent some time in Lowangen prison and also a part dog. S/he was also the reason the first expedition to the swamps failed so utterly, as whatever s/he did to the others on the way there was so horrible that everyone was terrified to even venture near the place it happened, even those who never met our insane Ice Elf. While travelling to Sibra, she breathed her last when s/he died of Blue Cough and none of her alternative medicine treatments worked to cure it.

Reinhardt the Witcher, AKA Reinhardt v3.0, AKA the DECLINE version, like Windows Vista to v2.0 and v1.0's Windows XP. All he ever did was summon his useless broom, summon crows to attack HIMSELF, fail to charm the aggresive swamp wildlife and finally die of swamp fever after the swamp rantzies knocked him out.

vazha Borealesson, this here is his original version, still freshly generated and ready for adventure. The real vazha Borealesson though is lost forever. He brought much honor to his father, Commander Boreale, and had a promising music career ahead of him. Sadly, he couldn't manage to survive the journey accross the mountains and he fell into a chasm, forever lost to us.

Nevill of Codexia, unrelated to Nevill Codex. A magician from the land of Codexia, specializing in domination spells and seduction. His Horriphobus made many a foe flee in fear. He was a faithful disciple of his master, Rincewind, and ran all the way from the swamps to Sibra, while carrying all of his dead companions and the sick Boreale on his shoulders. And he did all of that without boots! He liked to walk around shirtless all the time and cosplay as Magneto from X-Men. Shame we've lost him, as during the opening cutscene in the Blood Pinnacle, he managed to catch Dullskull AND Blue Cough before we even had a chance to start the dungeon proper. Still, like all of our magicians, he was very useful! :salute: Were he with us in the Blood Pinnacle while on his full strength, it would make everything much easier!

da_rays Codexer, son of Nevill Codexer and an evil Borbarad cultist in disguise. He sought to steal our D20 for himself and fell in battle before he could put his evil plan in motion. He was useless at actual rogue stuff, but that wasn't his fault, but due to the fact that the game took all of our stuff YET AGAIN and didn't provide any replacement lockpicks. He served as a fine meatshield, as due to his dark allegiance, everyone instantly targeted him. Weakened from the constant orc attacks, he eventually starved to death in the Blood Pinnacle.

Turns out, Reinhardt v4.0 and Helly 360 No Scope are alive! Did I forget to save their progress? Or just select the wrong versions? Well, doesn't matter, they are dead to us!

Anyway, Reinhardt v4.0 was a fine addition to the party and redeemed the faulty previous version. Standing at 1.25 meters tall, she was easily the smallest member of the entire party, consisting of a 2 meters tall Thorwalian and Warrior, yet despite that, she managed to kick ass and take names just like them. Like Jimmious, she was also good at opening locks and even stealing from merchants. She almost made it to the end, yet starved to death in the room before the final boss.

Helly 360 No Scope... well, the name speaks for itself. He singlehandedly proved that Hunters are actually awesome, which deserves a :salute:! He consistently dealt as much damage as the 20 Strength warrior types and kept rolling crits like crazy. He was also the best tracker and survivalist we've ever had. Just like Reinhardt v4.0, he starved to death in the room before the final boss, while I was trying to recharge our Astral Energy. And this was indeed a tragic loss.

Azira the Enchantress... well, she was definitely much better then the Ice Elf for sure. A Domination focused magician, she specialized in banning our enemies via the Chain and Manacle spell and despite her lower skill, she actually surpassed Grimgravy in the end due to her higher AE pool and lower AE costs. And she is one of the 4 surviving characters, so... :salute:

Grimgravy Meekness... the administrator Silvan Elf and the master of the mighty banhammer. He might've been surpassed by his student Azira in the end, but still, I can't imagine how I'd get out of the swamps and through the Blood Pinnacle without this guy. And he was the one who wielded the banhammer first and no one can take it away from him! Despite all odds, he survived, even though he suffered from a major case of Claustrophobia even while above ground and still has Traumatic Fever.

Morkar of Riva... the guy who pretends to be the original Morkar. He is with us since the undead dwarves from hell wiped out most of the original party. He survived to the end and I'm not sure if him or Jimmious should get the second place for survival after Boreale. He was great at "start barter", fighting in general and a great medic to boot! He probably has the best stats out of the whole party.

And finally, Commander Boreale, proud servant of the EMPRAH! What to say about him that isn't already known. This guy survived all the way to the end, despite numerous setbacks, knockouts and deadly diseases. I thought he'd die for sure when we've traveled to Sibra after that disastrous swamp expedition, yet he just shrugged off his Battlefield Fever, which immediately expired. Great at fighting and not much else, still, it's not like we needed him for anything else.

Following his ressurection, Nevill ventured forth to the mythical land of Germany. There, he finally mastered the art of "handel abschließen" and properly utilized his Seduction skill to start a profitable movie career. Sadly, the fame got into his head and now he refuses to speak to any other Codexians, for he finds their "handel abschließen" lacking. No one knows what the fuck he means by that.

MicoSelva Rainbow Child returned life, his mind forever altered by the horrific visions experienced in the afterlife, where he was tormented by the undead dwarves. Sadly, he never quite recovered and afterwards he went to Finsterkoppen, killing every dwarf he came across, living or undead. Eventually, he ventured to the darkest depths of the Dwarven Pit...

ERYFKRAD Codexer wasn't to be upstaged by his younger brother and thus joined the army in the fight against the orcs. He was captured during a battle near the Blood Pinnacle, yet he slew the orc chief in single combat and became the leader of his own orc tribe. Years later, Aventurians would hear the name ERYFKRAD and shake in fear as the great Warlord ravaged their lands with his orcish army.

Reinhardt the Black went on to produce some of the finest sad poetry known to the world and finally answered the question "What can change the nature of man?" once and for all, even better then Planescape: Torment. He eventually settled down in a nice house in the countryside, inhabited by all of his glowing green ghost friends, so he was finally among people he liked.

Morkar the Red tried to make a worthy spiritual successor to the Realms of Arkania series set in Thorwal, yet his Kickstarter campaign failed after everyone accused him of plagiarizing Skyrim. Full of rage, the mighty magician unleashed his armies of Heshthots and Skeletons upon Aventuria and burned down cities with his Ignifaxius. Eventually, the combined armies of the world stopped him, but still, he is there somewhere, planning, waiting, his rage only growing stronger each day...

Reinhardt the Jolly returned to the world and brought joy and cheer to everyone around him. Sadly, he was too good for this cruel world and soon, he found himself hunted by those jealous of his success. Still, he wandered the world, bringing fun and laughter to the world affected by Decline.

Jimmious ventured back to the Dwarven Pit and eventually restured the mine to it's former glory. Finsterkoppen eventually became the richest dwarven settlement in all of Aventuria, with Jimmious as its leader. Yet in his hubris, Jimmious eventually dug too deep and uncovered the terrible horrors waiting down below. Specifically, MicoSelva Rainbow Child, who now made a pact with the dark forces and was thus transformed into an undead elf from hell. The newly restored Dwarven Pit and Finsterkoppen fell overnight and after MicoSelva finally stopped, only bones and ashes remained. The fate of Jimmious remains a mystery, but some people say that MicoSelva now has an undead dwarf companion on his side and together, they guard the Dwarven Pit from any further intruders.

Immediately after being resurrected, Azira Blood Song fled as far away as she could to practice her medical skills on other victims and experiment with the alternative medicine treatments s/he was so fond of. If you have any information about the whereabouts of this insane ice elf, please alert the local town guard immediately.

Reinhardt the Witcher eventually went on to star in his own Witcher game. It received very negative reviews due to the fact that you had to fight with a broom instead of a sword. Yet somehow, it became the RPGCodex GOTY of 2030, most likely due to the deep and immersive storyline.

da_rays Codexer returned to the Temple of The Nameless in Tjolmar, seeking guidance from his master. After finding it deserted and his master slain, he vowed to restore it to its former glory and bring doom upon Aventuria. He eventually returned as the main antagonist in Shadows over Riva HD, which became RPGCodex GOTY of 2020.

Reinhard v4.0 eventually had to leave this world, for there are many worlds in peril, each requiring a Reinhardt to save them and this one already depleted its Reinhardt budget.

Helly 360 No Scope was later heard saying that this game sucks and he'd rather go play CS: GO instead. He currently holds the world record for most 360noscope headshots in the world.

As for our other heroes... well, we shall see. For now, this is the end of their adventures. But who knows, maybe fate still has something in store for them...

Yes, the temple and the inn are not the actual town, this is the actual elven city. A treetop village. Looks a lot better then in the original, where Kvirasim looks like some generic human village in the middle of a wasteland. Not saying that the graphics are amazing or anything, but it's a pretty nice place.

Reading their changelogs they have fixed a lot of stuff you found in your playthrough e.g. in combat enemy models don't freeze anymore when dead and dwarves have now proper interior in their size...

Each time you get an event you didn't experience before, your characters get 10 experience. All of these events plus some random encounters I haven't shown were enough to bump Ylleh and Vazha up a level.

Anyway, we've made it to Teifhusen, but still we are about 6 Ducats short of 20, so we have to make some money first. Well, I'm sure that won't be a problem for Vazha-

From what I understand, this particular dungeon was completely changed for the remake, in order to make it more fun, eliminate filler fights and also to make it more "lore friendly". So, 90% of what we are going to see here is content exclusive to the remake.

Basically, you have to fill the whole board with the plates, but the plates can't be adjanced (or diagonaly adjanced) to a tile or plate of the same color (nor can you place a plate on a tile with the same color). When you place a plate on the tile, the color of the plate replaces the color of that tile.
The first time I went here, I accidentaly missed the spot that triggers the puzzle event, which resulted in the two dead party members, but now I'm much smarter! :incline:

Despite the fact that the game says you have 2 tries, you actually have 3. I kinda screwed this up, should've just dropped 4 coins into each pan and if one of them was lighter, it would mean the pyrite is among those coins. If they were both the same weight, then whichever coin was left on the altar would be the one we are looking for. Like this, I've kinda wasted the attempt.

If your character sticks their finger finger into the wrong hole, the stone disappears and teleports atop some empty "socket" somewhere inside the dungeon, where you can try to get it again.

I actually got this result a few times when I've visited the temple the first time, but I didn't know that actually meant I was successful, I thought that opened some hidden door somewhere, especially since there were hidden doors behind two of these things.

This time, I've tried this and discovered that you can actually take the stone from the "socket" after that clicking noise message. I've just save-scummed past both of these. The actual number you need to press seems to be random, as I've tried to press the same one multiple times and sometimes it works, sometimes the stone disappears. And it seems there's multiple buttons that actually lead to this clicking noise. I'm not sure if I am supposed to recognize those symbols, or if this is just some trial and error thing that's meant to annoy you and make you run laps around the whole dungeon, fingering random sockets until you get enough stones to for your collection.

We return back to the area with the maze entrance. There was a chest here we couldn't open, so let's try to do so now. First, we split the party.
