Nice painting. Let's talk about today's work. The Okra Flower and Li Song's Flower Basket. No one knew who painted the former. The brushwork is pretty meticulous, aggressively colored. The petal colored with pale pink, leaves with heavy green, and the layout is very meticulous. It's a really high quality work from the Southern Song Dynasty.
An exquisite flower basket filled with camellia, white narcissus, abliflora, clove and daphne flowers, as a symbol of good luck.
Natural and vivid, using double coloring method, with bright colors. A typical artwork in the Southern Song Dynasty.
A famous poet Lu You once said: In my attic all night I hear the rustle of spring rain. At dawn apricot blooms are sold deep in the lane. Although there's no such flower in the painting, it's just so full of colors, enough to reflect that the people in South Song really love flowers.
Now you should know these two paintings pretty much. You have potential. Work hard, and you could bee the most famous painter in the world.

Mmm. Nice painting, young man. Today's paintings are Zhao Ji's Hibiscus Mutabilis with Golden Pheasant and Lin Chun's Loquat and Bird.
This is a bird-and-flower painting which describes the scenery in autumn. The hibiscus are flourishing, vibrating gently by the wind. Butterflies fluttering from flower to flower, and attracted a golden pheasant.
The content is the scene of Jiangnan in May, when the loquats are mature.
The loquats are drew in wheat at first, then colored by gold, and covered with brown at last. These three colors are fused together, to show that the loquats are full of sweetness.
The Loquats leaves are drew by the meticulous brushwork, and use heavy coloring, showing the leaves' natural features.
As you can see. The painter actually drew the bites from bugs in the leaves. You can learn that the flower-and-bird painting in Song Dynasty is very realistic.
