Expect that if Quilins survived Jing will be able to stabilize her and should be able to sneak quite well while caring her.
He is not quite chasing after you, though.Because it's so easy to heal others in pitch darkness with a Megadeth stage prop chasing after you, amirite?
Because it's so easy to heal others in pitch darkness with a Megadeth stage prop chasing after you, amirite? Qilin is an extremely agile and quick girl, if falling with Cao'er is survivable, then Qilin definitely made it down there without any problems. And so will we, most likely.
Besides, no way in fucking hell are we fighting this guy alone: he can fight blind, has greater neiggong and strength than we do, and is totally bonkers to boot. Coe'er would only slow the otherwise quick party down.
Or, you know, just try to talk to him. He has some semblance of consciousness left, enough to identify the Emperor and only target him and his escort.
Now that we are away from Taisheng and are no longer protecting him, there may not be a reason to fight. We'll see how it goes.

Not if she stays with the secret police and GTFOs to get us help from the outside, while we keep the distinguished prince occupied with a civil conversation.Since we chose to do the horror flick and go through the goddamn tunnels... why anyone thinks that splitting the team is a good idea? It's a staple for a reason.

In that same scenario of yours, where Qilin is injured and Cao'er is with us, we are also running the risk of injuring ourselves to soften her fall, which she wouldn't be able to heal quickly in pitch darkness without meridians. Next, taunting this dude is a horrible, terrible, idiotic idea: he just collapsed the whole upper level with just one blow to the walls, he knows this place by memory and can fight blind. No way in hell are we taunting him to buy anyone time. Lastly, a healthy Jing has enough strength (9) and speed (10) to hightail it out of the damn place with Qilin on his back. She's not all that heavy, if we could perform acrobatics and stealth in Qingcheng School with Cao'er, we can do so here.
Again, this is assuming Qilin got injured in the first place, which I simply don't think is true.

Because this is an action flick not a horror flick and the hero has to save the girl by himself?
Anyway, dividing the group serves several practical purposes while dragging her down with us just adds one more thing for Jing to worry about.
Until you throw in one detail: fighting completely blind against the Terminator. We can't really dodge well in those conditions, and one hit is all that he needs. Besides, this is unfamiliar ground to everyone except him, so even with 10 PER, Cao'er wouldn't know where to go. Best case scenario is either her or Qilin have good luck, but then we're left in there alone and fucked. In that same scenario of yours, where Qilin is injured and Cao'er is with us, we are also running the risk of injuring ourselves to soften her fall, which she wouldn't be able to heal quickly in pitch darkness without meridians. I kinda considered Cao'er would figure her way out of this place with her high perception, though I didn't account on how will we get out. I also consider the madman rather slow and clumsy, although strong and resistant. We can't fight him that's for sure, but he didn't seem particularly fast or agile, so dodging his blows or evading him doesn't seem too hard. Then again I pressumed the madman some ordinary monster that attacks only small, defenseless groups, so I might be wrong on this one too.
