That won't work out with the time limit. If someone likes a set, they vote for it. If not, they make their own. The masterlist just tries to put all those different combinations in one place so we don't hop all over the thread looking for it.

 

What butthurt? I was pushing for 6-12 (compromised into 12-18) and fully expecting 18-24 to win from the voting patterns and later compromises. If I were in treave's shoes, I'd've made the same call.

 

You're going to get 7 pages of DISCUSS!!! regardless. However, what we might be able to do is see which ones are the most popular, then lock them in. Once we lock in the main choices, we can take it from there. For example, neigong training or Reikan is probably going to be a lock, so we can stipulate that a 24 month plan is going to include it after a day or so of hashing it out, then narrow our focus from there once we've nailed down which choices the community likes the best. That could work.

As for me, I'm going with Banana's Unarmed Mastery > Anabanana's Kenjutsu and Qi-Leeching Package > Esquilaxian Qi-Leeching

24. Further improve your handling of Ruanhong Zhusuo, the spider silk threads. (2 months)
25. Undergo strenuous neigong training to unlock your potential (Neigong +2, 6 months, Yuanshi Hundun now gives +2 to STR, AGI and END)
26. Learn how to absorb qi from other people at a faster rate by ‘practicing’ with Qilin and Cao’er. (3 months)

Flop to 36-42 and we will have even more evident bell curve and its unforgivable that there is no ideal symmetry, or mby its just me.

 

You could get everyone to vote for top 6 techniques (ranked) and add them together to make a big list, and then just go through the list until 24 months is hit.

Or even unranked, pick 24 months of stuff, and let the number of votes rise to the top.

 

Provided that all votes are in the time limit, I don't see why not. You can do a weighted average that takes account of time... or not. My mind may still be a bit fried from that exam, sorry.

I'm alright with praying, but I'm not interested in less extreme luck. Luck 1 is one of the best things about Jing.

Alright then, my vote is the same as it was ten pages ago:

Original Esquilaxian Package > Original Anabanana Kenjutsu package

plus the Qi Leeching package.

Also no praying to the Gods, we have never needed them before to get the job done and we don't need them now.

And given their sense of humour they will turn Jing into a woman and permanently disable his hyper weapon.

Dude, increasing our skill with silk and SoH obvipusly makes it easier to bind our targets and generally make our manipulation of them better. Which means we can tie them down and go to town with whatever we choose, unarmed, swords or our neiggong.

 

Kenjutsu + Qi Manipulation
EDIT: Flopped to LWC1996 Package
It isn't perfect, but it isn't bad. Personally I wanted Neiggong and Quiggong plus Qi Leeching and maybe Yuhe Finger so we could launch lightning fast strikes at the enemy from all directions, drawing out their Qi to heat the air and form a tornado which would hurl them into the air where we could use the Wuying Leipo Kick.

Everyone else has a proper secret ultimate technique. We never get to say, "Maybe it is time to use... that technique."

 

I like this build and I know that ScubaV was also keen on STR rather than END for a boost. However, if I might make a suggestion, not that many people are that keen on the animal upgrade, but given how you've organized this, perhaps you can replace the Wudu Funshun for a Shouwang Claws upgrade. It would certainly fit this build like a glove and it would improve one of our best techniques further.

As good as it is, I just don't think I can compromise on the END boost on this one. Sorry. Everything else looks perfect to me though.

 

It's a bit harder to do that now that people know you use it.

Still a very useful multi-purpose tool, but not exactly a game-breaker.

 

For package: Anabanana Kenjutsu > Original Esquilaxian

Packages: Qi Liching > Qi Manipulating

 

Esquilaxian Package > Anabanana Kenjutsu and Qi Manipulation > Qi Leeching for me.

It's the +4 throwing that makes me prefer Esquilaxian. Saber skills when we have sword skills is almost redundant, but throwing skills when we have zero ranged skills is pretty damn important.

I still believe we should really get the Yuhe Finger technique.
