I like Esquilaxian package, but I would change the Yuchang technique to traps and artistic skill. Is the voting done in these packages only?

No, but your preferred option is likely to be buried by people voting for packages as-is.

Oh hell no, if you have an idea then go ahead and pitch it. The master module list is there as a convenience.

Well, this appears to be my best bet for getting in any unarmed skill at this rate, though it does lack the strength training. Hopefully the neigong can act as a passive boost like Reikan if we run up against the skill cap...

    I'll flop to (13 14 23 25 26 28 34) [my packet] > (3 13 14 15 21 22 25 26) [LWC1996's packet]

    sigh

I'll leave off the prayer for the secondary vote.

I'm counting the prayer as a separate vote since it's so divisive and technically takes up no time.

unless you get 10 endurance he is going to get injured, like it or not. Maybe the problem is in the BEHAVIOUR not in his STATS.

    I'll vote:
    The Original Anabanana Kenjutsu Package
    3- +4 Sabers.
    13- +1 Swords.
    15- +1 Swords, +Rare Minamoto Kenjutsu.
    22- Reikan: +1 PER.
    25- Neiggong: +1 STR, +1 AGI, +1 END.
    30- +1 END.
Total: 18 months, +4 sabers, +2 Swords, + Rare Minamoto Kenjutsu, +1 PER for Reikan, +1 STR +1 AGI +1 END for Yuanshi Hundun, +1 END permanent.
    For the base and add
    6 (art-2 mth)
    26 (qi leach-3mth)
Any one month skill really to round us out (6 mth total)
    > 14 (unarmed -6 mth)

Don't pray we dont need to placate the gods.

By the way, perhaps we could convince Treave that should we choose 3, then choosing 15 should give us +1 saber in addition to +1 sword. But that might be asking for too much.

    NOT THIS AGAIN!
The injuries we're talking about are about straining ourselves with our neiggong:

Well, then I vote for the Qi leeching package and The original Esquilaxian package except 20 (Yuchang sword technique) changed to 6 and 10 (+2 to artistic skill and +4 traps). I'll try to throw a vote with bolding and colors when I get to computer.

Uh, I'll have to say LWC1996 is actually right in that if you have higher neigong skill, the chances of that happening go down.

Partially because you have better control, and partially because there will not be that many opponents that will require you to use such a dangerous method when your neigong is better.

Which does also ties into behaviour, I figure. I mean, if you're going to go around picking very difficult and dangerous fights...

Well, yes, of course. Anyway, endurance does mitigate qi damage, as I said, but on the other hand, not being in a situation where you need to take the damage in the first place might also be good. But that'd require a change in behaviour on the part of the voters, so... yeah.

I don't think there's a real right or wrong choice with the options here (even if you stack it out with the miscellanous skills, or leave after just a month, or decide to stay for five years), just that if you don't pray you don't hora hora.

I'd strongly consider flopping to that if you changed the animal nonsense. I hate animal taming enough that I won't vote for anything which contains it, but support unarmed over +2 SWORDS.

Haha, I see. The thing is that we will absolutely have to push ourselves to the limit because we get into a lot of difficult fights on a regular basis, often by necesdity.

I don't believe that we can defeat BJ by not going past our limits, for instance, or the other guys from our generation, so it will definitely pay to fortify ourselves is all I'm saying.

But naturally, if you are at the level where your opponents are weaker than you and uou can afford not going all out on them, of course there's not a lot of risk in injuring ourselves. But then, no challenge, no progression.

Half the fun in this CYOA is getting Jing ruined in an explosion of super-powered qi stretched to the best of his abilities and having to use a somewhat more subtle approach while he's screwed up.

The other main issue is that with the Douchebag Generation in charge, a lot of powerful people in the orthodox world will be out to get us. Combine our bad reputation with our standard YOLOTIGERing ways and that makes the END boost a necessity considering all the scrapes that we get into.

    I'm flopping to LWC1996 Package
Unarmed + Neiggong + Qi Stealing is most of what I'm looking for. It doesn't have the Yuhe Finger, which is sad.

... And the other half of that fun is indulging in our beloved pastime of YOLOTIGERing. The END boost is to ensure we spend more time YOLOTIGERing and hareming rather than doing gay shit like being sensible and cautious.

Why choose unarmed or swords when you can have both + techniques for each + neigoing + qi leech?
