Oh yeah, one thing: just because the orthodox students only know a few techniques doesn't mean the sect as a whole definitely only has a handful of moves. It's just that each student will learn the ones from that suit them most.

A4. Yuhe Finger + Silk (16 months, 8 months for add-ons)
A5. Yuhe Finger (13 months, 11 months for add-ons)
Recommended add-ons: Intense Perception Training (5 months)

B1. Unarmed Mastery + Kenjutsu (23 months, 1 month for add-ons)
B2. Unarmed Mastery + Yuchang (22 months, 2 months for add-ons)
B3. Unarmed Mastery + Silk (20 months, 4 months for add-ons)
B4. Unarmed Mastery (17 months, 7 months for add-ons)

C1. Kenjutsu + Yuchang (18 months, 6 months for add-ons)
C2. Kenjutsu + Silk (18 months, 6 months for add-ons)

All of the popular packages should fall within one of the above options. Let's say 24 hours to vote on the main build, and then another 24 hours to vote on which add-ons to add to the main build? Or is this not going to work?

It's in the add-ons section! I figure +1 END is something that could work well with most of those builds. You'll just have to plan ahead and leave enough months left over to pick it up during the add-on voting segment.

 

Just didn't see it with any of the addons so got confused for a second.

Anyway, the base package should include Reikan because that's the one thing everyone voted in favor of. Besides that, I see no problem with it.

 

This just screams to me: Shouwang Mad Claws is the best technique we can get here. We should get it and we should get the unarmed training first so we can master it.

 

Some builds just don't have room for it.

Ok, lets try it out.

B1. Unarmed Mastery + Kenjutsu (23 months, 1 month for add-ons) + Reikan

This has +2 SWORDS, +1 Unarmed, 1 new tech, 1 tech upgrade and +1 PER. Good enough.

If conditional votes are accepted (please don't make it a habit, guys), I can go for:
C2. Kenjutsu + Silk (18 months, 6 months for add-ons) + tech addons (say, Shouwang, Chuzhan, and MYSTARY, or Shouwang, Yuchang and Reikan)

I am going for a balanced build that does not neglect either swords or unarmed.

The opportunity cost is a bit high, though.

 

It's also kinda based off Nevill's list though, and Reikan isn't listed as a constant there.

Pretty mutch I just want the real drama story to continue anyways, as long as treave is disposed to do so.

 

Seems kinda clusterfucly, first we get 24 hrs to vote on one half of the package and 24 hrs for another? It'd be better to vote for a whole package at once, otherwise we end up with a slightly more balanced Frankenstein than we would have had otherwise.

I'm not so sure about this, rather treave handle putting solid packages together.

Esquilax's build falls under:
D1. Yuchang + Silk (17 months, 7 months for add-ons) + (ENDURANCE + Reikan + Throwing)

Baltika9's:
C2. Kenjutsu + Silk (18 months, 6 months for add-ons) + (ENDURANCE + Reikan)

Kipeci's:
B4. Unarmed Mastery (17 months, 7 months for add-ons) + (STRENGTH + Sword Training)

Really, if these builds had people voting for them earlier, it is easier to count them that way.

Of course, then we might get people who didn't vote on the winning option filling the space with some nonsense, trying to salvage something from their builds that didn't get enough attention. Then there will be much lulz and butthurt.

 

Ex-fucking-actly, we have thirty guys voting on a tremendous choice like this and everyone has their own agenda. This can literally take us a week just to plan, so I'd rather we just got the only guy with any kind of authority to put his foot down and shut all the bullshit down. This will be just like the previous votes, only with letters instead of wacky names.

 

B1 + : 1 mth #22 - Reikan training .

Sorry can't do colour on phone. But this is my final choice. Was kinda torn between new technique from Zhang... But since we are only allowed 1 mth add on, I'll go with Reikan training.

 

The two-part voting was to keep the votes manageable and done in an efficient amount of time, but I see people are already voting with add-ons anyway. Oops.

No, they are not intended as a part of the vote. This exists only to clarify people's intentions. If B1 wins, I do not expect Reikan to fill the last space, I am just stating what I think would work best with it.

This is why if you absolutely can not part with Kenjutsu, you vote B1 instead of B4. You choose what you can do without, knowing that if you leave too many things out, the space may be filled with something different than what you had in mind.

In any case, LWC1996's and Esquilax's builds got the most traction so far. I believe those might be the main contenders.
