A. Winning 3 out of 4 tests would make us the star of the day. And if we fail, well, at least we tried.

THE MEASURE OF A MAN

The stage for the new event was prepared, only Eulos dared to confront Karios, all the others were too scared by his brutish demeanor to partecipate, they instead helped preparing the contenders for the fight by puring oil over their muscular bodies, spreading it carefully with their hands, so gentle was their touch on Eulos' skin, they lovely coated every inch of his body with a thin layer of aromatic oil, delicately but firmly massagging his taut phisique, so enamoured they were with their work that they continued long after the others finished with Karios prompting the priests to intervene.
After this little delay the trials resumed.
Karios confident on his size attacked heads on while Eulos firmly resisted, the poweful chests collided when Karios locked Eulos in a bearhug, Eulos responded in kind emulating the fight that Heraclues had with Anthues, the son of Gaya.
Their spine creacked under the terrific pressure they exrcised on each other, fumbling around trying to throw the adversary or lifting him off the ground but to no avail.
As the minutes passed Karios' face became more and more red, realizing his inferiority he resorted to vile tricks, suddenly lowering his knees Karios broke his grip and tried to grab Eulos' private parts with one hand while trying to do unspeakable things with the other.
Eulos realized that he had a split second to achieve victory, preserve his manhood and the purity of his virginal rosy orifice.

A)Try to throw Karios, this is your opportunity.

B)Try to do the same as Karios, let'see who is the toughest.

C)Admit defeat, no point in risking your dignity, let him have such a shameful victory.

B is tempting, but the homoeroticism factor is quite high already. therefore, I vote for A.

A - We're above using such low tricks. At least when we have spectators.

THE BEST MAN WINS

Taking advantage of not being constrained by Karios' grip anymore Eulos dropped his knees even lower than the opponent did thus putting himself out of harm's way and gaining a better leverage.
With a fluid movement he lifted Karios over his shoulder resembling for a moment his god in the fight against the nefarious Anthues, that mythical pose was unfortunely ruined by Karios shriecks that ended with a "ugh" when he was sent flying crashing ignominously on the ground.
The cheers of the crowd could surely be heard at the top of mount Olumpys and continued through all the ceremonies to honor the victor of the various trials.
Thrice Eulos was olive crowned becoming the champion of the day.
The high priest had to use all his authority to quiet the cheering crowd.
-It's high noon, the Heraclues trials have ended, but before we continue with the ceremonies is customary to issue a challenge to whoever wants to accept it.-
The crowd hold its breath eagerly awaiting to know of this challenge.
-Here there is a statue of our god during one of his labors.-
He pointed at the statue at the left of the temple' stairs.
-Here he is subduing the Creytan bull, this is the challenge, can any of you lift the statue of the bull and make with it a full lap of the templeyard ?-
The initial stupor of the crowd was replaced by hopeful anticipation as all stares coverged on Eulos.
Was he ready for such tall task tho?

Interesting.

B. Let's reap our just rewards as a true champion, without endangering the moment of our glory.

Hmm. Why'd the priest have to put us in such a bad spot. If we don't try, we spoil the day. If we try and fail, we spoil the day. Customary to issue a challenge my ass. He's no bro. :decline:
We have to try or look like a punk.

THE FAVOR OF THE GODS

The crowd started chanting Eulos name louder and louder eager to witness the apotheosys of their champion.
Eulos embarassement was growing by the moment when louder cries were heard:
-Karios, Karios, he is the true champion.-
A rowdy bunch come at the forefront with the brute at their helm.
-So this challenge is for everyone?-
-It's what I said- replied the high priest in a contemptuous manner.
-Then I Karios will show to all who is the real champion if no one else dares-
Here he gave a dismissing stare at Eulos.

Should we act, would we do that right after Karios, or before him? If the former, I say we let ridicule himself and take the opportunity to catch our breath. I vote for A.

Nope, the choice is between doing it instead of Karios or wait and and see if he succeeds or fails after that there will be new choices.

If we were going to try, we should have tried to begin with!

B - Let the meat-head play meat-head. We shall sit under a tree with a cool drink and watch.
