    Here's a <a href="http://www.mars.spiders-games.com/">new one we haven't posted about yet</a>:
    <br>
    <blockquote>Mars is a Sci-fi RPG action game that innovatively merges character development and light and rythmic fights. It takes you on a journey deep into an original futuristic universe and presents you with scenarios dealing with difference, racism and environment.
    <br>
    <br>
    "In the destroyed world of Mars, two destinies mingle together. Two beings searching for their identity travel across a broken planet, constantly facing bloody political conflicts which tear the old colonies apart. Often divided, sometimes fighting the same enemies, both are the source of the advent of a new era… "</blockquote>
    <br>
    If "light and rythmic fights"(?) interest you, be sure to <a href="http://mars.spiders-games.com/downloads/videos/video_-_mars_wip_01.wmv">watch the game's trailer</a> or <a href="http://www.msxbox-world.com/xbox360/screenshots/screenshots/796/Mars.html">check out some screenshots</a>. You can find out more about the "God of War-inspired ARPG" <a href="http://www.ps3center.net/article/228/1/pcn-interview-on-spiders-god-of-warinspired-arpg-mars/">in an interview with Spider, the French indie developer behind the game</a>:

    <blockquote>JR: The PS3 is a very interesting platform, with a huge potential, even if it isn't very easy to access. There are very few RPGs for now on this console, and we really think that the fans are waiting for some good games in this genre on PS3. That’s why we decided to take it as our primary platform. The PC came with it when we chose the engine. We decided to use the Phyre Engine from Sony, and the engine works cross platform with the PC.
    <br>

    <br>
    JR: It’s true that, for now, no one is interfering into our creative process. We have chosen to do our game in an unusual universe with innovative gameplay that may have not been possible to do if it was a publisher's order. But, if under a publisher, we can really design the game as we want it to be, the fact that we don't have one is also a limitation: we’re developing the game for now with our own funds so we don't have a full staff, we aren't working with all the people we would like to.
    <br>
    [...]
    <br>
    JR: The two linked stories are open ended, and the player will be able to make some choices, even if their global framework will not change. There is a lot of side quests for each character that are optional of course, some actions can be done in different methods and the way you answer the NPCs will change their reactions.
    <br>
    [...]
    <br>
    JR: The combat system is really inspired by beat’ em ups, and we want the fighting to be as fun and as rich as it is in pure action games. Of course it’s not easy to reach the perfect mix, and I know that it could sound more than ambitious to claim that the combat will be as good as a stand alone action game. But we want to give this combination a chance, and if the game places a big emphasis on story, quests, item collection and progression, we’ll try to make sure the combat matches up too.</blockquote>
    <br>
    It's always nice to know PC users gets RPGs these days because it "came with the engine".

    The premise sounds cool. I wish it were a real rpg though, but hey. I bet they are trying to cash in on the furor surrounding Diablo III

    Gee... Such a boring background. The gray factory style.

    And in 2009 the characters still slide in the floor instead of taking steps...

    Is this that retarded game where sunlight kills because it's "marshun sunlight!!!1"?

    If, yes, give me one reason why it's makers shouldn't die in a fire.

    Because being locked inside a bunker with only an old computer and a copy of Oblivion is a much worse fate.

    God of War as it's action game influence? Get ready for shit-tons of boring combat and battles that are only mildly interactive cutscenes.
